Time to throw on the Lord of the Rings soundtrack and get to work!

Had a busy time at work and playing drums last week, but week 3 of the Google UX design certificate is complete! #uxdesign

This week's learning has been all about design sprints and the YouTube videos by @AJSmartDesign have been really helpful.

Week 2 of the Google UX design certificate is complete! Learned about accessibility and UX frameworks. #uxdesign

Week 1 of the Google UX design certificate is complete! Woohoo! #uxdesign

Today's activity...spring cleaning!

Spent the work day creating reports and having meetings. Spent an hour and a half after the work day to learn more about UX design. Which sounds more exciting? 🙃

My journey to obtain the Google UX Design Professional Certificate has begun!

Learning how to use @figmadesign!

Side by side landing section for the mobile version of the project I'm working on. Can I get some opinions on which one looks better? I'm leaning towards the one on the left. The bold headline on the right one just makes it seem heavy.

I have gotten in the habit of starting the day off with a medium difficulty Sudoku puzzle. It seems to get my brain going. I've managed to solve a few hard puzzles, but they are better left to later in the day 😆 Anybody else kickstart their brain with some games?

Been tinkering with Elementor for Wordpress to create the home page for my redesigned class project. After a few frustrating days, I've managed to get it to look fairly close to the redesign mockup. Next step is to work on making it responsive.

Redesigning a class project from a few years ago to put in my web designer portfolio. I think my skills have made quite a jump. On the left is the old landing page and on the right is the idea for the new landing page. Thoughts?

I think I'm finally starting to truly understand this thing called JavaScript 🥴

If I keep saying a callback function is a function passed in another function as an argument, I'm bound to get it eventually. #javascript

Utilizing some things I've learned about Javascript to make a random dropspot generator for Fortnite. Any favorite places to drop? I usually land outside of named locations and work my way to them, otherwise it will be an early exit.😬

Just finished the JavaScript Essentials course on Udemy. udemy.com/course/javascript-… Big thanks to @avelx for offering his knowledge on the subject for free. 👍

I couldn't resist a little javascript humor😆 let solo = ['pizza slice']; let vader = solo.pop();

I learned how to make a custom wordpress bootstrap theme! 😃 I also learned how to mess up a custom wordpress bootstrap theme! 🙃
