Impressive preemptive defense here from @Railway noted in their incident write-up.
Folks should be less harsh and more appreciative of good work like this in these times - the eMudhra situation by comparison shows the consequence of total negligence, but Railway had >98% safe.
The preliminary report related to the October 21st Security Incident is now available.

Ever since I got into gaming in the early 90's I've dreamed of one very specific game. I searched high and low, but the idea was simply too complex, too original. Surely no developer could ever conceive of it...
Thanks, Unity. At last I can make a corridor shooter set in space.

nobody talks about the psychological damage of watching something you spent 10 years learning become a prompt

Here's part 2 of my mini-series on memory management. It looks specifically at memory paging, linear allocators, and how different layouts of the same data can significantly effect physical use.

After 6 years I have just launched my Cozy Puzzle game Sushi Roll!
Solve puzzles and make Sushi!
I’ve been working on this little game in my spare time for many years now and it’s now finally out in the wild.

Classic “what even is color”. We can’t control the quality and settings on consumers devices. Just author it in a way that looks good for you and your set up and cross those fingers lol
Wow, I didn't realise how popular True Tone is.
I know it's enabled by default and Apple tells you that it makes your screen look more consistent in different lighting, but it really should be turned off.
It changes your screen's colour temperature (usually just makes it warmer) throughout the day and messes with the colours. Once you turn it off, everything is more colour-accurate and closer to what the creator intended, especially for photos and videos.
I hope people using Macs for professional work don't forget to turn it off 😬
The best use cases I've had for it are when reading on my iPad. If you want to cut out blue light at night, just turn on Night Shift and you'll have no trouble falling asleep.
Yes, the @GitHubCopilot pricing changes suck, but I think what is stinging people the most is paying for a monthly subscription to a tool that they can exhaust in one or two uses.

the great thing about AI is that everyone seems to think "well it gets things wrong in my area of expertise but its so good for everything else"

I truly don't understand why people are hating on that Mixtape game.
I can't think of a single reason despite just in the mood to hate on something randomly
Man software could be so good. Everything is so slow, inefficient and clunky.

Performance is my top priority, so much faster than taskmgr, while still having a perfect first frame.
Here we go.. haha

OK so help me understand how this is real?
The light is on the top of the moon in this picture, but the shadow on earth shows that the moon should be lit up completely in this view of the moon?!
That’s one hell of a polyfill
