Every time someone says "how about we build more public housing" a clown car opens and a bunch of rich guys pile out going "what about shipping containers? What about dorms? What about tiny houses?" and we have to recognise that the purpose is to stop the solution we know works.

When I was growing up they taught the Holocaust like one big global community lesson we all learned to never let anything like it happen again. And now that it’s happening again if you made the comparison in a classroom as a teacher you’d lose your job and possibly go to prison
