This is an absurdly facile critique of the paper. There are lots of methodological choices you could quibble with here, but suggesting, as OP does here, that they didn't address multiple testing concerns is just wrong.
I'm sorry, but I don't believe this result is worth the paper it's printed on. Sure, if you look at trillions of combinations and don't correct for that, you'll find associations, purely by chance. But they got the NYT headline, didn't they? nytimes.com/2026/09/03/scien…

Thanks @Lotte_Lambrecht for the interview in the Belgian @destandaard. We discuss the complex relationship between DNA, behavior, and society, racist pseudoscience from people like @nathancofnas & @KirkegaardEmil, and polygenic embryo selection.

New preprint on a controversial topic:
Through which socioeconomic mechanisms do individuals with higher genetic predisposition for educational attainment end up with higher income over their working life?
We study this using uniquely rich Finnish data.

New publication! @BiologicalPsyc1
We expand on our prior work demonstrating that pleiotropic effects of cognitive GWAS can provide biological insights into schizophrenia GWAS results. We differentiated "concordant" from "discordant" subsets of schizophrenia risk SNPs (1/3)

I think this JAMA article from last week received insufficient attention - different computations of PRS for the same disease, despite nearly identical population performance, resulted in very different classifications at the individual level
