One of the best uses I’ve seen of player tracking data and VR. AND used to provide compelling insights, rather than to just to show off some new technology. @danorlovsky7 does a great job navigating what looks like a pretty complicated system.

Congrats to CS Prof Edith Law and her colleague Psychology Prof Elizabeth Nilsen, recipients of a ~$66k Insight Development Grant for their proposal “Associations Between Children’s Characteristics and Their Perceptions of, Strategies Toward, and Learning from Teachable Robots”!
In the photo is Professor Edith Law in Waterloo's Davis Centre. Professor Law directs the Augmented Intelligence Lab and co-directs the Human-Computer Interaction Lab. She is broadly interested in social computing technology that coordinates small groups to large crowds, new models of interactions with machine intelligence, and how technology can be designed to foster and celebrate certain human values.
