Palestine is barely getting recognition from mainstream media. Israel is starving Gaza of food, fuel, water, electricity, internet, you name it. The people of Gaza are being silenced. They don’t want us to know what’s happening within Gaza, to cover their horrifying warcrimes. The border between Egypt and Gaza has become heavily militarized making it nearly impossible for humanitarian workers to supply Gaza with food and water. When the mainstream media fails to properly inform us about the horrific incidents, it is our job to educate ourselves and the ones around us. A genocide is happening right under our noses, and because majority of us feel helpless, we choose ignorance. We might not be the ones to make the change but we surely can contribute to it, by always staying informed, keeping the ones around us informed, being the wave of information. I’m not asking you for all your weeks, days, hours. Just a couple of minutes to defy ignorance.
