BREAKING: Chris Paul announces this is his farewell season

Dallas Mavericks assistant Jared Dudley is finalizing a deal to become the top assistant coach for the Denver Nuggets under David Adelman, Andy Miller of Klutch Sports tells ESPN. Dudley has been on Mavs' staff since 2021 after a 14-year NBA career.

The Sacramento Kings are trading Jonas Valanciunas to the Denver Nuggets for Dario Saric, sources tell ESPN.

Jamal Murray (illness) now listed questionable Thursday.

An anonymous player on the Denver Nuggets says Russell Westbrook is ‘immature,’ per @ramonashelburne “Minutes after the Nuggets lost Game 2 of their first-round series against the Clippers, Adelman had a problem. While he'd been at the postgame lectern, there'd been a heated discussion between Westbrook and Gordon in the locker room, multiple sources told ESPN. Gordon had challenged Westbrook about his attitude. Outside the locker room, one player relayed why Gordon might've done so. ‘He's so immature,’ he said of Westbrook.” (Via buff.ly/4OSiyAb)

I don't know how anybody could be mad at that game. Two teams are throwing haymakers at each other and it's 1-1 going back to LA! This is what you want!

Full clean out: The Denver Nuggets are also firing general manager Calvin Booth, sources tell ESPN. Michael Malone and Booth both out today.
