Just a reminder that you can find me over at the elephant place and from today the place that birds fly in with the same "throg" handle. #nottwitteranymore
So well done @ThreeUK, the bar was low but you managed to sink to a new level of terrible customer support today. Terminated with IMMEDIATE effect.
First time back since it became X. Wow, the app has got worse! I’ll be back off to The Large Animal Platform That Can’t Be Named once I’ve had a mini rant. 🙂
Hey @ThreeUKSupport, either someone is scamming using your company name (most likely) or your call centre security processes need rewriting.
Caller says “I have important information about your contract” then insists on verifying your identity. Red flag!
So @bankwithsmile did you even bother testing your latest web app deployment? Can't view credit card statements ("something went wrong") and your CSV extract is broken - dates and transaction descriptions only. Pretty shabby service.
Yes, they're also masters of not answering the actual question you asked and pretending that they're trying to help and "protect" you rather than making the process so awkward and breathtakingly long that you give up and carry on using their wretched product.
Wow @virginmedia really? There's no feature on your customer portal that allows me to cancel my services, you redirect me out to WhatsApp where I have to provide security information to proceed? Bad form. This is one of the many, many reasons that I'm leaving.

January sale time! We will happily send you a CD for as little as a £5 donation to MacMillan until all remaining stock has gone. An extra incentive - the first 3 donations over £5 will also get a copy of Joe's "A Life Erased".

“Long-standing”? You added the clause *after* the event. There’s a word for this but it escapes me. And you’d probably ban me if I used it, because that’s how you roll now. Cheerio.
Twitter is enforcing its long-standing API rules. That may result in some apps not working.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Currently it's all major third party clients not some. Also, it is unknown what long standing rules have been broken as no guidance has been provided to any API partner. And as the tweet notes, these rules have not changed.

That sound you can hear is the bottom of the barrel being scraped.
The 2003 SACD and the Experience edition have everything you could possibly need, at a fraction of the price.
