Slowly but surely Romania is heading towards the next ~M 7.0-7.9 earthquake in the Vrancea seismic zone. It's been 40 years since the last one (M 7.2, 1986). Previous gaps reached ~37 years (M 7.7, 1940 - M 7.5, 1977). Strongest known quake was ~M 7.9 in 1802.

Από το 2019 έως τα τέλη του 2025 (με βάση τα επίσημα στοιχεία της ΕΛΕΤΑΕΝ - Ελληνική Επιστημονική Ένωση Αιολικής Ενέργειας), εγκαταστάθηκαν στην Ελλάδα περίπου 700 έως 750 νέες ανεμογεννήτριες.
Η εξέλιξη της συνολικής αιολικής ισχύος και του αριθμού των ανεμογεννητριών αποτυπώνεται παρακάτω:
Τέλος 2018: ~3.112 MW (περίπου 2.150 - 2.200 ανεμογεννήτριες)
Τέλος 2024: ~5.500 MW (περίπου 2.800 ανεμογεννήτριες)
Εντός του 2025: Προστέθηκαν επιπλέον αιολικά πάρκα, ανεβάζοντας τη συνολική ισχύ κοντά στα 5.800 MW.
Μέχρι τα τέλη του 2027, εκτιμάται ότι θα προστεθούν στην Ελλάδα περίπου 1.500 έως 2.000 MW νέων αιολικών έργων.
Σε αριθμό τεμαχίων, αυτό αντιστοιχεί σε περίπου 300 έως 450 νέες ανεμογεννήτριες, καθώς τα νέα έργα χρησιμοποιούν ανεμογεννήτριες μεγάλης ισχύος (4,5–6 MW η κάθε μία).
