All of the company's assets are now for sale, under the supervision of the court-appointed liquidator.

- Payroll and engineering
- Sports licensing (acknowledges as unsustainable by their CEO)
- IP and content production
- Tech and infra
- Growth, incentive, and administration
All of those costs serious money.
They did executed well on distribution, IP execution, and strategic direction. But in contrast:
1. They've failed to have a sustainable economic model
2. Spread resources across too many products
3. Monetize short attention, rather than long-term participation
And my biggest takeaway for Kalthera is:
Don't build an ecosystem that requires continuous spending but depends on occasional speculation to survive.
Build something people want to own, but design a business around something people are willing to keep paying for.
Even though the scale of my project is very very personal. But having this kind of case study is also important to have a better understanding and planning.

Unagi, the company behind Persona Journey, Ultimate Champions and Records, has entered court-ordered liquidation in France.
All of the company's assets are now for sale, under the supervision of the court-appointed liquidator.
What is being sold:
1. Persona Journey. The intellectual property, artwork and manga, the collection smart contracts and creator rights, a treasury of 957 Persona NFTs, the X and Discord communities, and the AI products: Hana, Imagine and the Giphy pipeline.
2. UNA. The token and its contracts.
3. Ultimate Champions. The fantasy football and basketball game, with its card economy.
4. The white-label fantasy platform, whose reference deployment was Coach Ligue 1, built for the French football league.
5. Fantasy Brainz. A prediction game, fully built, never released.
6. Records. The AI platform for user-generated content, launched in March 2026 with Pudgy Penguins, Doodles, Moonbirds and Claynosaurz.
