I'm not familiar with the software since I again I don't drive a Tesla nor would I fool with the operating system of a 2-ton vehicle. That being said I don't see Tesla offering any help if you get into an accident with your car. Just my two cents

I don't drive a Tesla and I don't agree with them renting out their software ad infinitum but I only have to think that you need one good accident to get sued into the gutter (because it was some open-source software running your car into somebody on the street).

Do you actually think that the agent physically changed the PCB design files or just moved them around from a graphical perspective to give them different options? How would the agent even know that it would be able to route the components and still have a functional device?

Have you ever heard of money laundering rules? It doesn't matter if it's $5 or $5,000

You'll never find out for sure but I could almost guarantee you that three-quarters of the exploits that have happened were intentionally designed.

Perhaps they didn't want to comment on something they were actively investigating in order to not tip off those actors, they were looking at.

Thank you for a common-sense position response. Rather than quitting and throwing your hands up in the air like your ex-coworker, you've decided to stay and help fix the problem. I commend you and thank you for a tool that I find extremely useful. Like anything that we create, guns, chemicals etc.; we can use them for good or evil purposes.
