People say it takes 21 days to build a new habit. It’s bullshit. You can’t put a set time on it.
It depends on various factors:
> Emotional intensity of habit
> Frequency
> Physiology
If you really want to build a habit, optimize the above
Working at the beach is so overrated in this online biz community
Have you lot ever actually tried?
Couple years ago I moved abroad was so excited - took the laptop to the beach and couldn't see shit bc of the sun.
Worst advice ever.
Something I noticed:
If you study the creators that dominate a niche with their brand, offer, etc.
You’ll realize most use this pattern:
1.) Take something the niche believes as true.
2.) Then prove the opposite.
3.) Tie it into their Brand
They now own the niche.

Your startup will be dead like rest 98%, if it dose not have these 3 things:
> Solves a bleeding-neck problem (or it’s trash)
> Scales without you being a wage-slave
> Packaging/brand so sexy people buy with their feelings

I took a quick look at website... Some suggestions:
1.) Offer reframe
Currently it's a bit "nice-to-have" positioning rather than this "puts out the fire that's holding you back" positioning
The problem you solve: Users struggle to find answers in docs
The problems of the problem you solve (i.e they are created by the original problem but the ACTUAL PROBLEMS):
- High support load
- Low product activation
- Too much time spent on onboarding
- High churn
You need to iterate your positioning so the COST of not buying > the cost of the pricing plans ($45-99)
Potential fixes:
1. Speak to these pain points more... On the home page, outreach campaigns, in your content, etc.
"We decrease Churn by doing X,Y, Z"- educate & show
"This is how we cut support tickets by x%"
2. Run onboarding sequences for the above (tailor experiences to solve the above issues, can also gamify, or make a "14-day challenge")
2.) Action-based Guarantee (Optional, but good)
"If you take part in one of our onboarding challenges and don't see an improvement in your key metric (product activation, support tickets, etc.), we'll give you another month for free"
The idea is that they will probably take part in the onboarding challenge then unlikely need another month.
3.) Trial... Just make it a 30-day trial bro, or at least 14-days.
One of your value props is analytics.
The more analytics they collect, the higher the chance they justify buying CrawlChat. It's very difficult to collect that amount in 7-days.
Also your goal is to make this something they use as a core part of their business. Difficult to do in 7 days.
Unless there is some financial reason I'm not seeing, make it 30 days.
4.) The Market
I'm not a dev but correct me if I'm wrong... There's endless alternatives all with similar positioning.
- Docsbot
- Kapa AI
- readme AI
I know they are slightly different like Kapa targets API-heavier or whatever but point probs still stands.
(Granted I may not see the difference because I am not a dev, feel free to correct me here.)
What do you differently?
I would maybe switch the whole entire category to something like:
“An AI-powered activation and support automation platform that cuts your ticket load and boosts onboarding completion.” - Or something cooler but you get the gist
Even that is probs quite competitive, but you could even take it further and add vertical positioning
(eg. enterprise b2b saas w/ technical onboarding or crypto/web 3.0- however research/think about in detail whether they already have smth like this and/or whether/how they'd switch... IDK - research/think)
Then you can charge way more ($300+/mo) too or even drop the trial & add a guarantee such as:
- If you do X (X = actions that guarantee success with your product),
- and don't get Y (Y = Result they want such as decreased churn or support tickets)
- then we will Z (risk reversal: give you another month on house, refund, or both)
All of this is assuming it's an offer problem lol if you have a traffic problem I can write part 2 ig lol
Disclaimer: this was just brain dump so some of it might need more thought or whatever, but you can bounce off above & change as needed
What 99% of info products do wrong:
They sell knowledge.
Nobody really gives a f*ck.
You need to sell IDENTITY.
People want to follow a process and live a new life.
They don’t give a f*ck about ur spreadsheets, AI prompts, or workout plan.
You need to position urself as this shit will put out the fires burning down your customers business/life/progress.
Not that whatever you sell is a “nice-to-have”
Nah.
Grown men can choose whatever they want to spend their money on.
There will always be a small number of emotionally unstable retards that lose control & become addicts.
But if they wouldn’t become addicted to sports betting, it would probs be drugs.
The only thing that needs to change is that casinos & sports betting companies shouldn’t be allowed to ban/stake restrict customers when they don’t like their betting patterns.
That’s like going to a restaurant and getting banned bc you order items on their menu.
Reason to start —> Passion
In that order.
Replying to @eptwts
Well said.
Even the people that developed some deep passion for their field started bc of money.
The people that do it for money or have a strong reason are also more likely to do the “whatever it takes” and not just what they’re passionate about.

God give me the confidence of creators who post surface-level platitudes all day and genuinely believe they’re sharing profound insights.
Sometimes you just need to disappear for a bit and come back with something that slaps.
No explanation.

I used to work with a UK gambling company group that offered new players 200 free spins on 1st deposit.
The problem: People would sign up, burn through the spins in one session, and disappear.
I offhandedly suggested to the marketing manager that they try a different structure (to increase habit-formation and retention)
Instead of giving all 200 spins at once, break them into a 10-day sequence.
Deposit £X → get 20 spins per day for 10 days.
They ended up running it.
And while I never saw the internal numbers, they’re still using that exact structure years later.
The marketing manager even posted on LinkedIn about boosting retention using that offer lol
So it clearly worked.
