8 lines every flag-shagging plastic “patriot” has in their playbook 1.“I want my country back” - From what? You voted for the party that ran it for 14 years. 2.“Our grandads didn’t fight for this” - Your grandads would be ashamed that you can’t find Normandy on a map. They fought with Poles, Sikhs, Gurkhas, and West Indians beside them. They’d have more in common with the immigrants you hate than plastic patriots sharing memes about them. 3.“This isn’t the Britain I grew up in” - Correct. It has lower crime, longer life expectancy, and better healthcare than the 1970s you’re romanticising. You just don’t remember the power cuts and three-day weeks. 4.“Britain is broken” - The most unpatriotic sentence in the English language, repeated daily by people say they love their country. 5. “We’re full” - The Netherlands has twice the population density and somehow manages. The UK is not full. It’s just had 14 years of no housebuilding and you need someone darker than you to blame for it. 6.“We look after our own first” - You vote for parties that cut disability benefits, froze nurses’ pay, gave tax breaks to the rich and closed Sure Start centres. You don’t look after anyone. 7.“Stop the boats” - The Tories spent £700 million on Rwanda to deport four people. Zero boats were stopped. You cheered anyway. 8.“Starmer is a traitor” - The man prosecuted terrorists, paedophile rings, and war criminals as DPP. You import American culture war propaganda from people who openly despise our allies, trash your own country 24/7, and follow convicted fraudsters who lied about where they were born. The only ones treacherously trashing Britain’s reputation daily are you.

Looks like Wales has spoken — Reform UK not wanted here! 👋 Caerphilly showed them the door, and honestly, fair play. We’ve got no time for their nonsense or negativity. Wales is better than that!

Thinking back to the Covid lockdowns. My sister was a carer for those with dementia at the time. We went into lockdown in March 2020, she was given her first PPE (that wasn’t plastic bags and homemade masks) in July. #MichelleMone

Bedtime musings…. The government/‘the establishment’/the wealthy use race and religion to divide us so we will never come together to form a revolution Goodnight 🩷

The ruling that defines woman, only as biological female, isn’t protecting women, it’s reducing us to body parts. It erases trans women, reinforces sexist control, and hands power to bigots who’ve never fought for women’s rights. Real feminism is inclusive. Always.

Seems pretty woke to be promoting an electric car 🤷🏻‍♀️
Proof that money and power don’t buy you good taste. This must be the trashiest stunt I’ve ever seen. The White House reduced to nothing more than a backdrop for a car dealership.

Trump is a formidable political force because he’s got the owners of the major social media sites on his side spewing lies 🤷🏻‍♀️
We’ve seen both Trumps in the last few hours with both sets of remarks. On prompter, with the odd flash of spontaneity, Trump is a formidable political force. Off prompter he is rambling, prone to sustained bouts of falsehoods/lies and deeply bewildering to the vast majority of people watching. The chaos comes with the latter.

What the hell did the use the money for?
Kemi Badenoch mentioned how much the UK's debt interest is costing us. She's right, it's becoming a big problem. And a very substantial portion of that debt was added to the UK government's balance sheet during the Conservatives' period in office. UK debt 2010: £1trn UK debt 2024: £2.8178trn
