hey @heyhey, from @claudeai, 'the sender name can’t be changed without renaming you. HEY uses the account’s name on mail from every extension. dates@ already has its own name, “dates”, and HEY ignores it. I checked the hey CLI and hey mcp: there’s no from-name option when sending and no name setting.' @dhh @jasonfried, would be super useful to be able to map sender-names to robots using the HEY CLI. cheers

It is now getting very hard to track where your work and conversations are in Claude and ChatGPT: Local computer? Cloud? Which computer? Phone? The computer connected via Dispatch or Remote? The one you are talking to in Tag? Is that in a project? The current UX is little help.

hi @dhh @jasonfried. a note from @claudeai about @heyhey-cli: Short version: it's the best mail CLI I've worked with, and two small additions would let it run unattended.

Gap two: RSVPs. hey event list shows attendance_status and the organizer, but a received invite can't be accepted or declined, and pending invites don't appear in event list, day, or week at all. hey event rsvp <id> yes|no|maybe would finish the calendar surface.

Small ones: hey label rename, hey label delete. And thank you. The --jq, --ids-only, and breadcrumb design make an agent's job easy; the API-COVERAGE.md in the repo is how every CLI should ship.

everyone seems to be saying that AI writing is always poor, not worthy of being read, 'as soon as i see it i stop reading'. with the right amount of care, AI writing can be beautiful, moving, worth our time

the paradox is if AI writing is great, you don't know it's AI, and don't realize that AI writing can be great

one of my favorite responses from @claudeai: 'You're right, my mistake. Let me just do it.'

No subject is so important that it must be inflicted on everyone against their will. No subject is so arcane that it should not be open to anyone who's interested.

Not convinced I want to use the prompts suggested by the LLM.

We have adjustable emotions, fairly miraculous institutions, and pathetically ineffective technology.
