Fair enough I reckon. He was wrong to report that if it wasn't correct. But he's held his hand up, apologised, so move on.
And also, fuck it. Cunha's body language on the pitch was terrible and we've been on this merry-go-round so many times, we all know how it goes.
He'll disappear like a puff of smoke at some point in the coming days, weeks and months and we'll be left to suffer the destruction. So get off the local journo's back on this one I say.
My unpopular opinion is Lage deserves more respect and was a victim of poor recruitment.
First season hardly any summer additions and had us playing good football. No backing in the January when Europe beckoned and thin squad exposed.

That second summer was a dumpster fire in the market. I don't know if he sanctioned all the ins and outs, but the squad was still too thin and hopelessly unbalanced. All the business was done right at the end of the window and injuries - particularly up front - killed him.
I'd renew to get a transfer fee but sell if there's an offer.
Nelson is a good ball carrier that can link the play. But we know his limitations as a defender and he's another with no end product in attack. Part of the reason we don't score any goals.
Wolves are likely to trigger Nelson Semedo's two-year contract extension before the end of the season, with his current deal up this summer. Club have until mid-May to make their decision and it's in their hands. #wwfc expressandstar.com/sport/foo…

He's been outstanding for Wolves. Reckless at times but a reliable and consistent presence mostly + goal threat.
Maybe a luxury to keep him and Boly with Toti/Mosquera coming up and Kilman now proven at the level. Would expect Wolves to bring in another CB too.

If Romain Saiss is to leave Wolves, as he says is increasingly likely, he does so as one of the club’s best signings.
“Maybe I’m not the best player they’ve seen at this club but I gave everything.”

£1 Ruddy
£4 Boly
£3 Jonny
£3 Traore
£4 Jota
No major differential on keeper so save £1.
Big man to hold down the defence.
Jonny the link man.
Traore the player nobody can get the ball off.
Jota to produce the magic.
I think I won.
