We got GMail (full interface) working in @ladybirdbrowser, let's fricken gooooooo! 🚀
This one is nice because I've been told by many people "you'll never be able to handle modern web apps like GMail"
Don't listen to armchair defeatists. We can build whatever we want! 🤓

Dang I'm excited about new semantic attr() capabilities in CSS!
I wrote a post about why this feature is so powerful, how it could change the way you build components, and how I would use it.
Advanced attr() is rolling out in Chrome 133 starting next week 🥰

So much is shipping in Chrome 133 (stable rollout begins in 2 weeks!)
A couple of big ones:
1. Scroll-state queries: check if something is stuck and where — developer.chrome.com/blog/cs…
2. Extended functionality for attr(): assign types beyond strings to attributes and use them in your CSS — developer.chrome.com/blog/ad…
3. Text-box trim: control the space above and below text — developer.chrome.com/blog/cs…
(Honorable mention). Hint popover type: open an unrelated popover while an existing stack popovers stay open — chromestatus.com/feature/507…

It's great to see aiBrow - github.com/axonzeta/aibrow - enabling the Chrome's prompt and high-level APIs like summarizer in all Chromium browsers and Firefox and with added benefits of being able to use many types of local models for on-device ai.

👀 I've working on making it clearer which apps have opened which tabs in @waveboxio , because...
...let's face it, you can still end up with loads of tabs, even though we try to keep them as organized as possible! In explorer webdock, the tree view gives an overview of this, but if you're using the other webdocks it can be less clear...
Hot on the heels of yesterday's @waveboxio beta & stable release, we've got a shiny new beta featuring an update to hashtag#Chromium 127.0.6533.57! 🚀

Amazing to see some of the optimization work behind Chromium and how each milestone brings more speed improvements to the web platform.
Since 2022 the Speedometer benchmark score has increased by 72% - something @waveboxio is always keen to make use of🙃

Phew! I can't believe we've finally managed to ship this. I'm looking forward to getting it out to the stable channel now so everyone can enjoy it!

Yay, @waveboxio version 10.124.31!
We've had a little flurry of releases over the last two days - not planned I have to admit, but this includes a critical security fix for CVE-2024-4671 from upstream Chromium

Section headers in @code, oh my days where have you been all my life ⁉️ It makes it so much easier to navigate large files using the minimap 🧭.
This is possibly the best thing to come out of 2024 so far!
