Really impressed with our local MP @hilarybennmp thirst for ‘how does it work’ knowledge, 2 hours of sparky conversation on the role of #CCS in the various routes to #NetZero
Really impressed by my visit to @C_CaptureCO2 in Leeds today. Chemical/engineering R&D and innovation of the highest order which will help us to decarbonise a range of industries. We’re going to need all the technologies we can develop to get us to net zero. Thanks!
It was an honour to host a return visit from @RachelReevesMP to update her on the latest achievements of the outstanding team of scientists, engineers and support staff @C_CaptureCO2
This is great news @RuthHerb2021 !!
It is critical that the U.K. Govt to commits to this vital element of achieving Industrial Decarbonisation in the UK by 2050. With the added bonus of building a U.K. supply chain, to support early moving projects internationally

Wonderful chance to speak directly to @BorisJohnson on a call this afternoon with @10DowningStreet on 🇬🇧 Govt 10 Point Plan, for a Green Industrial Revolution to #BuildBackBetter with @BernardLooneyBP @AlokSharma_RDG +others. “First Of A Kind technology project funding please!”
We @C_CaptureCO2 are developing what will be the most energy efficient process for capturing carbon dioxide in the fight against climate change. A successful outcome in this particular test programme will prove we are leading the way with the heavy industrial emissions too.
