Artists are booted to bottom-rung ladder social status: collabs/collectives are immediate/effective ways to power up & extend reach
in ‘20 we basked in a kind of frontier freedom & possibility. But markets & sentiments change quickly ~ working fast is essential
I began in fine art imagining & miraculously realizing absurdly complex installations needing a crew. it prepared me for ‘21
i knew banding together w/peers for a focused project would elevate our imprint & get us all paid
@_DEATH_PUNK made the bulk of 64 eth in 3 months
& it’s not finished yet
People still not caring about how well presented collabs are on @objktcom and still not trying to improve the collaboration experience on ETH.
No matter how much we insist.
