I'm so proud of this🎺 Social Action Inquiry Scotland collected deep learning about what helps and hinders community-led change. We have translated that knowledge from #livedexperience into a practical #PolicyLibrary for the political parties of Scotland. Please borrow it!
📣 Today -- in honour of World Day of Social Justice! - we launch our Policy Library. The Policy Library is designed to be "borrowed" by the political parties and "returned" to the people of Scotland after the elections this May. socialaction.scot/policy-lib…

Yesterday we were proud to support Let the People Sing with the @ScotGovFM @ChristinaSNP visit 🧭 The last 2 years we’ve been on this storytelling journey together navigating hinders & celebrating the helps for The Bothy. 👇 In this thread: their storytelling piece & our work
First Minister @HumzaYousaf and Minister for Drugs and Alcohol Policy Christina McKelvie visited The Bothy in Craigmillar. They heard from volunteers - including those with lived experience - about the vital community partnership work to help those with problematic substance use.

📢 We need help sharing the survey to hear from young people across the UK, from all walks of life, with experience of #cancer. If that's you, your story can help shape cancer support. By sharing it, you can champion & lead changes you want to see. ⭐️bit.ly/cancer-needs-survey

Possibly my favourite newsletter yet! 💌 This one has a focus on #power sharing in our #evaluation with @LeapLambeth. LEAP is a place-based approach to early childhood development that has an explicit focus on #equity. Our methods mirror these values ⚡️

Exciting news! Our research on the Bromley by Bow model was just featured in the @WHO_Europe's 'Let's Talk Primary Health Care' online talk show. Check out the Impact Reports that use the same Outcomes Framework discussed in yesterday's panel here ➡️ bbbc.org.uk/reports/
Delighted to be speaking about the @Bromley_by_Bow model today on a @WHO_Europe #LetsTalkPHC talk show alongside @MMuijsenbergh @JanDeMaeseneer @Toni_Dedeu and Yannish Naik 🌱 It's been wonderful revisiting the work that I co-led with @beckyseale and delivered with Naomi Mead👇🏻

Great thread on Locality members @Bromley_by_Bow & their model. Our health & wellbeing research over the last 2 yrs has consistently made the argument for why community organisations need to be part of any model seeking to address health & wellbeing at a neighbourhood level

I'm incredibly proud of this work, which was based on two years of ethnographic study, 40+ workshops, data generation and analysis with a brilliant team of community researchers and another six months of #knowledge #mobilisation.
