For thirty-two years everyone repeated that Akira cost 1.1 billion yen.
In June 2020 a producer asked where that number came from. Nobody had an answer. The real one had sat in a book for years, in the production manager's own words.
Monograph #2. 30 pages, free.
ALT Cover of monograph number 2, Akira. The title AKIRA in yellow over a night photograph of a rain-slicked elevated expressway in a Japanese city, with a red motorcycle taillight trail. Hazard stripes top and bottom.

Kade has been redrawn more times than anyone here wants to admit.
María sketches the whole storyboard from the script before anything else exists, and that gives us room to try the scene in registers we would never ship. These four are from the pile we set aside.
Which one would you have kept?
The one we did ship is on Steam. One night, one case, seven suspects, three endings, out 17 November.

We show the dice.
Hidden checks make people feel cheated when they lose. Visible ones make them feel like they gambled and it didn't come out.
Same maths. Completely different night.
One night, one case, seven suspects, three endings. Out 17 November on Steam.

We are starting a series: one monograph every Wednesday, free and with no signup.
Issue 01 is Ghost in the Shell. Thirty pages on the schoolteacher who drew it at night, the director who cut every joke and the choir that gave it a voice.

Empezamos una serie: un monográfico cada miércoles, gratis y sin registro.
El número 01 es Ghost in the Shell. Treinta páginas sobre el profesor de instituto que lo dibujaba de noche, el director que borró todos los chistes y el coro que le puso voz.

You read her wrong.
Four on the dice, and the sentence you were about to say stays in your mouth. She notices. She was always going to notice.
Nothing resets. Nobody offers you another go. The conversation just goes somewhere worse and you keep walking through it, and forty minutes later you're still paying for a number that came up on a table.
You just got the other scene.
