We're curious if this is actually a 50/50 split. If you could only own ONE phone color for the rest of your life, which would it be? 🖤 Onyx (Black) 🤍 Pearl (Silver)

We miss when getting a new phone actually felt exciting. Not because of another camera upgrade or a slightly faster processor. Because it looked different. Felt different. Made you want to pick it up and use it. We're trying to bring a little of that excitement back. Minimal Phone 2.

There's an entire generation of people who have never typed on a physical qwerty keyboard. Never felt the click of a real key. Never experienced typing without constantly looking at a screen. We think that's worth bringing back. Not because we miss the past, but because some things are simply too good to leave behind.

The goal was never to make people stop using their phones. It was to make the time they spend on them feel more worthwhile.

One of the coolest parts of building a hardware company is watching something that once existed only in your imagination become something you can actually hold. Thousands of decisions. Countless prototypes. Late nights. Trips across the world. Onyx and Pearl. Which one are you picking?

For years, the smartphone industry has been competing for one thing: more of your attention. More scrolling. More notifications. More screen time. We think the next generation of smartphones should compete for something entirely different. Giving you your time back. Meet the Minimal Phone 2.

We wanted to see how far we could push the Minimal Phone 2's 3,400mAh battery. So we charged it to 100%, unplugged it, and put it through nonstop real-world use. YouTube. Instagram. X. Chrome. Emails. Phone calls. Photos. Video recording. And more. Screen on the ENTIRE time. No breaks. No charging. We kept going until the phone completely shut down. The result genuinely surprised us. Here's the entire battery test condensed into a timelapse. See how long it lasted. 🔋 And we're still optimizing. youtu.be/85iydbXQAr4?si=IC0E…
