As I come up on 10 years of being an international fan - one who has never missed a game I’ve had access to in the last six - I’ve felt plastic recently because I didn’t grow up nearby.
I know I’m not who these supporters are denigrating though bc my skin is white

@NathanAClark I live in Michigan, I haven’t missed watching a live spurs game in almost 3 years (I have 6 subscriptions to keep up) I can’t wait to one day go to a live match, but geez “X” makes me feel like I should just stay away. Don’t want to be a tourist ya know
I’m due on the 21st but if this child comes a day early her first three games will be v city, arsenal, & pool, and I think that’s a cruel but oddly fitting way to bring a new spurs fan into the world
