He saith not, ‘And to seeds,’ as of many; but as of one, ‘And to thy seed,’ which is Christ.” Galatians 3:16 Do you see how he even clarifies it wasn’t plural but to 1 seed which is CHRIST. Paul explains that “the seed” refers ultimately to Christ, through whom the blessing promised to Abraham comes to all WHO BELIEVE. He doubles down in Romans 9:7-8 which reads the following: Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.” Here Paul distinguishes between Abraham’s physical descendants and those who share his faith, the TRUE spiritual seed. So please, quit trying to tell us we are wanting to replace you. Christ was since the beginning of time and always will be. John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. His people are those who listen to his voice and obey. John 10:27-28 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
