bsky.app/profile/thereorderb… Further mutterings will be on BlueSky from now on. Since I joined Twitter with my personal account in 2009 it’s largely been a huge amount of fun - but it doesn’t look familiar anymore, and so it’s time to move on 🧳

I’ll be spending a little while getting the people I follow hooked up on bsky and then this account will close.

Spotted out in the wild by a friend in Madrid this week. I had no idea it was so accessible! #Gambino

Love the music edit on this

My 1989 recreation was a tough one, my hard drive completely failed and I lost everything just as I was editing it. Had to start from scratch. It’s not the strongest voting sequence - but a good watch none the same. Originally posted 18 July 2020: youtu.be/xT8JRX-DDj4?si=wKrW…

I think that’s a bit of a shame, particularly as the jury is quite small. Plus I love the word demiscópico

This year’s typeface is alluding me so far. The serifs on the ‘c’ and the descender on the ‘y’ set it apart from a lot of other serif fonts out there

Ha ha I’m sure I’m not in the mix here, but it’s great to experiment with voting sequences - it’s part of ESC tradition. I think it may well be an attempt to de-stress the voting reveal for the kids, which is a fair goal. Congrats to @eurovision_tve for trying something new!

Something oddly Eurovision about signing up a cruise company as a major sponsor and then picking a winner from a landlocked country. I hope it never changes.

The saga of whether the UK Eurovision entrant should show off our current (strong) stock of artists or discover a new star goes on…

Wheeyyyy - thanks for indulging in the @eurovision archive in the geekiest way possible. It’s been great to find so much stuff out together and hopefully inform and entertain too. Still get alarming comments sometimes, but that’s some of the fun.
