Commanders need more out of Sonny Styles. 7 tackles in two games is BAD. Rookie or not. For context Josiah Trotter and Jacob Rodriguez, both 2nd round rookies, have over 20 tackles each.
Styles had that incredible highlight trucking Saquon for his first NFL sack. Only issue was that was his first stat worthy play of that game and it came in the 3rd quarter. That 3rd quarter was really the only time Styles made any significant impact out of the 8 quarters of football he has played.
I am in no way saying Sonny Styles is a bust or AP made a mistake taking him 7th overall. I am saying that 7 tackles is completely unacceptable for a starting ILB in the NFL. Rookie or not.
