As my team and I at @ExponentDestiny work to establish and expand equity in the metaverse (though upskilling and reskilling low-income young people into metaverse technology sector jobs), we are using evidence-based strategies to ensure the metaverse is adopted responsibly.
Like our current dominant ways to experience social media (2D content that is primarily photography and video), education and awareness around responsible use of immersive social media will increasingly become more important.
