MAGA creeps like Scott Presler keeps crying that “Obama gave Iran billions.” No, dumbasses. He gave them their own money back. That $1.7B came from $400M Iran paid to the U.S. in the 1970s for weapons we never delivered after the revolution. We held their cash for 40 years and made interest off it. Obama settled a legal case in international court, gave them back what we legally owed + interest. Not taxpayer money. Not a bribe. In return, Iran froze its nuclear program under the JCPOA. Then Trump, in his racist obsession with undoing anything Obama did, pulled out of the deal, slapped sanctions, and pushed Iran straight toward nukes. All because a wannabe dictator with the IQ of a well done steak had a vendetta against a Black president. Obama made peace through leverage. Trump is making war through the hate.
