Check these books for kids and parents who have meltdowns because of sensory overload and other issues! Lots of helpful tips and written by a top notch therapist 😂 Currently reduced on Kindle! @meltdownkids #SPD #homeschooling #ASD #ADHD

At time this appears deliberately misleading. “No evidence” because you haven’t collected any is a dereliction of duty, and entirely different from having collected evidence and proved something isn’t working
Really odd, incoherent blog; misunderstands both RPZs and LTNs. No new RPZs since 2013. Is this really nothing more than a budget driven increase in CPZ fees? No parking or transport policy at all; simply floundering? thebristolmayor.com/2023/06/…

Re : Autism assessments update:
We are really proud to say we have had fantastic feedback from the families we are supporting, 3 of whom have let us know at the start of term that the SENDCos of their respective schools have already started to implement our recommendations.#asd

Well done you amazing lionesses. Brilliantly played
Working with so many families at the moment where violent behaviour is commonplace from Child to parent. I ask the parent would they accept this behaviour from a partner??? DV is unacceptable in any form. Containment, boundaries and nurturing is required. Keep safe out there.

I completely support the pool and swim most days. We must save it.
Hey we're gearing up for a #CommunityAssetTransfer (CAT) to #SaveJubileePool. We will definitely want support along the way and most likely need to show it. If you want to help turn our #cat 😺 purr into a roar please do encourage others to #follow us on Twitter. #500ByChristmas

This will be good 👏. My colleagues rave about the developmental trauma training from BH. From the bottom to the top (song title by?) and the inside out
Our online training 'The Power of the Senses' is packed with info, ideas & strategies. Learn how to re-build the sensory systems & support regulation in children impacted by early trauma

Just had a brainwave that an excellent way to deactivate a meltdown is talking to the person about special interests.#ActuallyAutistic #meltdownkids
Scary Saturday when a party makes you feel worried and left out so Nathan tries to ruin it for his brother. This is a story of impulsiveness, sensory seeking and jealousy.
For all those parents and kids who hate having their nails cut, this should make you smile. Made me laugh out loud ha ha sorry Pug.
Going to be speaking on bbc radio somerset this morning at 10.15 about meltdownkids.co.uk tune in for some sensory tips in lockdown
