Disappointed to not see Howie Roseman up with Nick Sirianni
Sirianni was never going to say anything of relevance over Jalen Hurts - that’s not his job. Unfair to him that Eagles trotted him out there alone.
The gist of Nick Sirianni’s press conference is that he trusts the medical staff and the statements put out by the team is all we’re getting
No one is going to be held accountable
Doesn’t seem like there is much bad blood from Hurts’ camp if they are clarifying reports that make the team look better
Replying to @TomPelissero
Just spoke to Jalen Hurts’ agent, Nicole Lynn, who clarified that while Hurts was up until early Sunday morning getting evaluated at a hospital, he was able to sleep upon rejoining the team and the Eagles set aside a room for him at the stadium. Videos from the stadium show Hurts coming onto the field just before kickoff and he felt rested enough to play.
If Pablo Torre is going to sniff up the Sixers tree how about he looks into all of this Jalen Hurts stuff while he’s in town
Stephen A. Smith just made a fool of himself mocking mental health after Lane Johnson’s retirement
Now Michael Robinson jumped the gun accusing Jalen Hurts of quitting on the Eagles while he put both his career and life at risk playing in London
Hot take media sucks
“if I'm Jalen Hurts − or anybody in Jalen Hurts' camp − I'm saying, 'Well if everybody's hurt, I'm hurt, too.' “To me, it looked like Jalen is kind of getting himself out of the fray so that this lost season..he's pulling himself out so that this doesn't look like it's on me."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Jalen Hurts' ruled-out status stems from a superficial blood clot in his calf confirmed via team ultrasounds and detailed in the Eagles' official medical timeline with NFL involvement; no evidence supports strategic withdrawal claims.

Jalen Hurts played a football game in London on zero sleep because sleeping put him at high risk due to a blood clot
Just complete organization malpractice from the Eagles to allow that to happen
They can never make me hate Jalen Hurts
Jalen Hurts didn’t sleep before the London game because he was at risk due to a blood clot and they still let him play?
What in the world was the Eagles medical staff doing?
#Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season after several blood clots were revealed in his lungs, has been undergoing tests for days.
Before the London game, Hurts was in the hospital until 4 am and did not sleep because sleep was a risk. He played without having slept.
Someone in the Eagles building needs to answer for allowing Jalen Hurts to get on a plane to cross the Atlantic with a blood clot
It’s almost like Nick Sirianni gets in the way every single year until he’s told to step aside
The graph isn't quite as funny as last year's (included for comparison), but for anyone wondering, the #Eagles are still running more hitches than anyone else.
Nick Sirianni is not the catalyst to the Eagles success
He is a byproduct of the coordinators who actually know the X’s and O’s and a ridiculously talented roster
He doesn’t elevate any part of this organization and that becomes clearer and clearer everyday
Nick Sirianni is supposedly an offensive minded and has the worst offense in the league
Jalen Hurts is the 14th highest paid QB in the league and is playing like a bottom 3 QB
This is the exact same Eagles team as last year… nothing has changed
Horrible offense with a defense that needs to bail them out
Another week of people on this app telling me the Eagles defense can’t get a stop when they need it when the offense can’t do a single thing right in the 2nd half
Nick Sirianni simply isn’t good enough at the X’s and O’s to help Sean Mannion through the growing pains of being a first time play caller
Sean Mannion needs to figure it out as well
