The Lure
Old barns and sunsets
Behind stark winter trees,
Not much more beautiful
Can entice me.

Warmth, a small smile,
Bird songs
Bees buzzing around new blooms
That one shaft of light
Changed everything.

I always forget how relaxing it is to paint…
I’m currently working on a mural for a local restaurant. Any guesses on this one? 😁😉

Is it normal to stop and kiss every picture you see of your pet after losing her?
Yes, I realize I’m really just kissing my phone. 😭🥹🐾💔
To my shadow, my writing partner, my coffee mate, and my best friend. I will miss you forever.

I have 2 more days with my best friend. I took her out early this morning and had to grab her across the street. Thought my footprints from the wet grass looked cool so took a pic. When I got back to the house, I saw her paw prints right by mine. 😭💕🥹 I will miss you forever.
To my constant shadow, my moon watcher, my coffee mate, my writing partner, and my best friend:
I don’t know how I’m going to let you go. 🙏🏼😭
Her cancer has spread over the last couple months, so we are saying goodbye forever on Thursday.
Prayers needed. This is awful. 😭🙏🏼
Just a little video I made.😁☺️ “The Search”

I went out searching for PEACE
In the city,
In the forest,
In the mountains,
In the trees,
But I found out it was hiding
Deep within me.

How many of you grew up cutting these so the dolphins and sea life didn’t get tangled in them? And then as an adult, realized you lived in Southern Arizona, miles and miles from any bodies of water, let alone the ocean.
Any chance my trash actually made it to the ocean? 😳
Do you ever like a post because it has 399 likes and you want it to be even? Or not like something because it looks all pretty at 2000 or even better 2222?
Just me? 😅 Thought so…

I saw my first fireflies for the summer and was way too excited about it 😄😆 💕because they are so fun and magical! ✨🪲
My own kids were like—oh, yeah. Cool, mom. They are bugs.
