A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY. Here's a full recap: 1. Stocks closed the week higher. The Nasdaq Composite rose 0.48% to 27,068.72, the S&P 500 added 0.51% to 7,743.41 and the Dow gained 0.93% to 51,828.62, with weekly gains of 2.1%, 1.2% and 0.3% (Kiplinger, Eurasia Business News). WTI fell 2.5% to $92.29 on a report that Iran proposed a plan to end the war (Kiplinger). The 10 year yield still held at 5.18%, near its highest since 2007 (AP), and the Fed's Beth Hammack partly blamed competition for cash from heavy tech investment (Reuters). So the AI capex boom is now helping push up the discount rate on AI stocks. 2. $AKAM Akamai signed a seven year, $11.6 billion compute deal with Anthropic, plus a warrant letting Anthropic buy roughly 5% of the company at $111.33 a share (CNBC). The stock was up more than 21% premarket but closed up 3.2% (CNBC, Kiplinger). Most of the headline pop was gone by the bell, which is the market pricing delivery, not the press release. 3. $MSFT Microsoft rose 3.66% to $516.17 after refreshing its Copilot app with coding tools and an always on agent (Motley Fool). CNBC framed it as a challenge to Anthropic's Claude and a push to get enterprise customers paying (CNBC). With over $115 billion of capex this year, the question remains how many seats actually pay (Motley Fool). 4. $META Meta fell about 4% as traders cashed in, while The Information reported a Muse security flaw found via its bug bounty programme (Stocktwits, CNBC). It still gained about 13% on the week and is up 36% in September, on pace for its best month since July 2013 (Stocktwits, Bloomberg). A 4% dip inside a 36% month is a rounding error with a headline attached. 5. Thursday's moves partly reversed. $ARM Arm opened up 4.85% and traded near $321 in the morning after Thursday's 7.9% drop, on the idea that Muse style agents push more AI inference onto CPUs (TradingKey, 24/7 Wall St). $NBIS Nebius fell 2.5% to $237.33 midday after Thursday's 7.4% jump, despite an upgrade with a $399 target (MarketBeat). Same narrative, opposite direction, one day apart. 6. $ORCL Oracle fell another 1.75% to $137.10, day two after its force majeure notice on the Project Jupiter data centre in New Mexico (Motley Fool). A source told Reuters the project is delayed a year over power, and the notice went to a unit of $OWL Blue Owl (Reuters). About $18 billion of related loans were quoted at 89 to 91 cents on the dollar (FT via Searchlight New Mexico). Oracle says Jupiter remains on schedule; the loan market is reserving judgement. 7. $AESI Atlas Energy Solutions jumped 13.47% to $12.47 after signing cost reimbursement agreements with an unnamed "leading frontier AI lab" for data centre power equipment built on $CAT Caterpillar hardware (Motley Fool, CNBC). Volume hit 12.2 million shares against a 3.4 million average (Motley Fool). The AI trade keeps migrating from chips to whoever can supply electricity. 8. $TSLA Tesla fell 1.54% to $372.11 despite launching mass production of its Semi truck, targeting 50,000 a year (Motley Fool). Reuters reported the EU vote on broader Full Self Driving approval was left off the October agenda, with December the next chance (Reuters via Yahoo Finance). The market values the software, and the software is waiting on 27 countries. Oil fell, yields held, and everyone rediscovered that the AI boom runs on electricity and borrowed money.

A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY. Here's a full recap: 1. $META Meta closed +4.5% at $777.59 on the Muse follow-through after Connect. Reuters: Muse Charm is a pocket-watch-sized gadget with a roughly 2-inch screen and built-in 5G (no calls), so users can tap into Muse without a phone AI app; Muse is also coming to Meta's smart glasses. JPMorgan's Doug Anmuth lifted the price target to $920 from $820 (Overweight), saying Muse could become the most widely used consumer AI app since ChatGPT. CNBC: Connectors already cover 2,000-plus apps plus Walmart, Best Buy, Sephora and Wayfair, with a take-rate or commission path later. Reuters said Meta was on track to add about $56bn of market value on the day. 2. $ORCL Oracle fell about 3.5% after Bloomberg and CNBC reported a force majeure notice on Project Jupiter, the New Mexico data centre (Blue Owl's STACK) meant to serve OpenAI inside Stargate. CNBC: Oracle wants payment flexibility if 2028 slips; Oracle told CNBC the project remains on its planned schedule, and Blue Owl said commitments are unchanged. Reuters, citing a person familiar, said the programme faces a one-year delay on power, with Blue Owl holding about $3bn equity. $OWL Blue Owl closed down 3.6% and $BE Bloom Energy (fuel cells for the more than 2.4 GW site) slid about 3%. Bankers told Reuters the notice chilled other AI infrastructure financings (SB Energy delayed its IPO this week). 3. $ARM Arm dropped about 7.9% to roughly $306 (prior close $332.56, MarketBeat), the sharpest mega-cap chip move. Coverage tied it to Jupiter uncertainty plus a disclosed CFO Jason Child Rule 10b5-1 sale of 10,400 shares at $300 on 21 Sep (about $3.12m). SOX only fell 0.33% to 12,492.54 (TradingKey), so this was a single-name air pocket. 4. $NBIS Nebius jumped about 7.4% (InvestingLive) after BNP Paribas Exane upgraded to Outperform and raised its target to $399 from $260 (Motley Fool). That sits on Nebius's second compute-lease hike in months: from 1 Oct, selected $NVDA Nvidia H100 to B300 capacity rises roughly 17% to 21%. $CRWV CoreWeave got a milder JPMorgan Overweight at $125 and barely moved (24/7 Wall St.). 5. Indexes finished a whippy session almost unchanged: Nasdaq Composite 26,939.37 (up 0.01%), S&P 500 7,704.13 (down 0.02%), Dow 51,349.98 (down 0.31%) (AP/WTOP). Nasdaq had been down as much as about 230 points intraday before buyers stepped in (InvestingLive). 6. Semiconductors split. $INTC Intel up 3.91% and $AMD AMD up 2.38% kept the Muse-era agents-need-CPUs bid alive, while $SNDK Sandisk down 3.47% and $COHR Coherent down 3.32% gave back recent strength (InvestingLive). Mega-cap helpers: $GOOGL Alphabet-A up 1.34%, $TSM TSMC up 1.03%. Laggards: $AVGO Broadcom down 1.30%, $NVDA Nvidia down 0.41%, $TSLA Tesla down 0.57%, $MSFT Microsoft down 0.53% (TradingKey). 7. $GOOG Google opened Gemini 3.8 Live with Live Avatar in Gemini Enterprise on 24 Sep (Google blog): near real-time video avatars with lip-sync and expressions, 97-language speech, and SynthID watermarking. Software GA versus Oracle's power-and-permit scare was the day's AI infra split. 8. Fed's John Williams said another rate hike before year-end is reasonable, citing resilient demand, sticky inflation challenges, and strong AI-related demand (TradingKey summary). Rates stayed tight even as Nasdaq clawed back to flat. Flat indexes, one Muse melt-up, one Stargate financing scare. That is the tape.

A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY. Here's a full recap: 1. Hot flash PMIs and a hawkish Fed voter flipped the rates tape. S&P Global's September composite hit 58.4, a five-year high (services 58.7, manufacturing 57.0), with input costs at their steepest since late 2022 (Newsquawk, XTB). Governor Barr said further hikes are likely needed. The 10-year jumped about 15 bp to roughly 5.11%, the highest close since 2007, and October hike odds moved toward about 70% (TheStreet, CME FedWatch via Newsquawk). That is a direct hit on duration-sensitive AI and growth multiples. 2. After back-to-back Nasdaq records, the US session gave it back. Newsquawk put the Nasdaq-100 at 30,470 (-0.85%), the S&P 500 at 7,706 (-0.75%), and the Dow at 51,517 (-0.68%), with the Russell 2000 down 1.77%. Equal-weight lagged too. Profit-taking after Tuesday's highs plus the yield spike did most of the work. 3. Semis snapped a six-session win streak. $SOXX closed about 1.2% lower at $565.72 (Yahoo). Memory names that led Tuesday gave some of it back: $SNDK SanDisk -3.7% to $1,816.57 and $MU Micron -2.2% to $1,071.88. $AVGO Broadcom (-2.6% to $354.99), $AMD (-1.5% to $614.61), and $INTC Intel (-1.0% to $122.60) traded with the tape (Yahoo; XTB). 4. $NVDA Nvidia fell 1.5% to $225.51, ending a six-session green run (Yahoo; Seeking Alpha). Afternoon trade also flagged a Form 4: director Mark Stevens disclosed selling about 1.37 million shares (Seeking Alpha). Barron's-linked coverage also kept the Google TPU / $AVGO custom-silicon and Anthropic capacity-talk narrative in the mix (Gate citing Barron's / The Information). The print is a rates-and-profit-taking story first; the competitive chatter is secondary colour. 5. Credit-sensitive hyperscalers took the bigger hits. $GOOGL Alphabet closed -3.8% at $337.83 and $AMZN Amazon -2.2% at $249.27 (Yahoo). Trading Economics tied the softness to rising yields hitting names linked to heavy AI debt issuance. $MSFT Microsoft (+0.5% to $500.59) and $AAPL Apple (-0.8% to $337.02) were quieter inside Mag-7 (Yahoo). 6. $META Meta was the clear mega-cap exception, up about 1% to $744.10 (Yahoo; XTB). XTB noted September is tracking near +30%, on pace for its strongest month since 2013, with Muse still the catalyst investors are pricing for apps and monetisation. One AI agent story is carrying a lot of relative strength while chips and cloud peers fade. 7. Positioning: Michael Burry said he is adding shorts in $MU, $SOXX, $NBIS Nebius, and $PLTR Palantir, arguing the memory shortage will "blow off" over about two years as supply catches up (CNBC, Substack). $NBIS fell about 4% to $226.61 on the day (Yahoo). One sourced flow item, not a thesis endorsement. 8. $PLTR still rose about 3.7% to $191.79 (Yahoo). Rosenblatt reiterated Buy with a $225 target (reported 23 Sep). Some tape chatter linked the move to FAA AI / air-traffic software news; separate reporting notes the large SMART prime sits with Air Space Intelligence, not Palantir, so treat that read-through as noisy (TS2). 9. Model-lab colour on a down day: Newsquawk relayed The Information that $MSFT plans deeper Copilot discounts as it pushes an AI "super app," and The Verge that Anthropic's biolab made a discovery it is comparing to CRISPR. Both are reported, not confirmed by company filings in front of us. The market stopped celebrating Tuesday's highs the moment the front end started pricing another hike.

A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY. Here's a full recap: 1. The Nasdaq printed a second straight record while the broader tape stayed uneven. The Nasdaq Composite rose 0.45% to 27,244.28, and the Nasdaq 100 also closed at a record. The S&P 500 finished essentially flat at 7,764.64, and the Dow fell 0.36% to 51,863.69 as financials weighed on the blue chips (Associated Press). 2. Memory led after Rosenblatt initiated $SNDK Sandisk at Buy with a $2,400 target. Shares closed about $1,886, up roughly 6.8%, on a note that treats NAND flash as AI infrastructure rather than commodity storage. Rosenblatt flagged customer agreements covering an estimated 65% of fiscal 2028 production (24/7 Wall St.). 3. $MU Micron followed the same AI-memory bid and closed at $1,094.41, up about 4.8%. Storage peers joined the move: TradingKey had $STX Seagate up about 4.9% and $WDC Western Digital up about 3.7% into the close (exa session data; TradingKey). 4. Bernstein told clients it would still own $NVDA Nvidia and $AVGO Broadcom after this week's agentic CPU rebound. The note keeps a $400 target on $NVDA (about 17x next-twelve-months earnings versus a five-year average near 35x) and $575 on $AVGO. It cites Nvidia pointing to 70%+ growth into 2027, and Broadcom with a path to double revenue in 2027 and again in 2028 (CNBC). 5. Anthropic shipped Claude Opus 5.5 and cut list prices 20% to $4/$20 per million input/output tokens. The company said typical workloads run about 40% cheaper than Opus 5, with output more than 30% faster. Published Terminal-Bench 4.0 came in at 66.4%, versus 55.8% for Fable 5.1 (SiliconANGLE). 6. OpenAI answered within the hour with GPT-6 Sol and Luna, both priced at half their GPT-5.6 namesakes. Sol lists at $2/$10 per million tokens; Luna at $0.10/$0.50. Sol is aimed at recurring coding and agent work; Luna at high-volume summarisation and extraction (SiliconANGLE). 7. $AAPL Apple began shipping upgraded Mac Mini and Mac Studio machines pitched as cheaper than renting cloud tokens for local AI work. Configurations can cost nearly $20,000. Apple holds about 4.6% of the enterprise desktop market versus 91.3% for Windows, per IDC, and showed four Mac Studios running a trillion-parameter model off one wall outlet (Reuters). 8. Mitsubishi Electric Power Products published Chip-to-Grid reference designs for $NVDA Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 AI factories. The blueprint uses 250 MW deployment blocks that can scale toward gigawatt campuses, with rack densities rising from about 200 kW today toward more than 1 MW per rack (Business Wire). The session kept the AI stack bid even when the averages could not agree.

A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY. Here's a full recap: 1. $META Platforms Muse hit No. 1 among free apps on the U.S. Apple App Store and Google Play as of Monday. Sensor Tower's Abe Yousef put downloads above 902,000 in the six days after the 8 Sep launch, ahead of Meta AI's 773,000 in the same window. Bloomberg. Shares closed about 11% higher, the biggest one-day gain since April 2025. Wells Fargo raised its target to $796 from $640 on Muse traction ahead of Connect. 2. $AMD Advanced Micro Devices topped a $1 trillion market cap for the first time, CNBC reported, as the stock surged about 10% and hit an intraday high of $615.52. Semafor called AMD the fourth U.S. chipmaker through that mark. The tape is pricing AI data-centre demand harder than any single product print. 3. The Nasdaq Composite closed at a record 27,122.09, up 599.55 points or 2.3%, while the S&P 500 rose 114.20 points or 1.5% to 7,764.70 and the Dow added 0.7% to 52,048.83. Associated Press. CNBC said it was the Nasdaq's first record close since 2 June. Chip and AI names did the heavy lifting. 4. $ARM Arm Holdings jumped about 17% as investors read Muse-led agent adoption as a CPU demand story. Bloomberg. Arm has said AGI CPU demand exceeds $2 billion across fiscal 2027 and 2028, with about $1 billion of manufacturing capacity secured as of 30 June. Monday re-rated that pipeline. It was not a fresh Arm product release. 5. $INTC Intel rose about 12% in the same CPU bid. CNBC. Bernstein's Stacy Rasgon said broader consumer use of agents could put CPU shortage and demand "into overdrive," because multi-step agent workflows lean on CPUs alongside accelerators. The session catalyst was the agent read-through, not a new Intel print. 6. $NVDA Nvidia and Einride announced a collaboration to build the next Einride Driver on NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion for heavy-duty Level 4 trucking, with Halos, Cosmos and Blackwell in the stack. Einride company release. Einride targets 1,500 to 2,000 vehicles by 2028 and says about 80% of captured demand looks automation-suitable. No contract value or unit order was disclosed. 7. South Korea's semiconductor exports for 1 to 20 September hit a record $34.128 billion, up 259.4% year on year, and made up 47.8% of total exports of $71.4 billion in the period. Korea Customs Service via The Asia Business Daily. The print keeps HBM and DRAM scarcity in the AI-infra tape without a U.S. memory earnings day. 8. $TSLA Tesla said FSD Supervised is now approved in Czechia, with rollout to begin soon, making it the seventh EU member state after recognition of the Dutch RDW provisional type approval. Teslarati citing Tesla Europe and the Czech Ministry of Transport. Eligible cars need AI4 hardware, and the driver stays legally responsible. Next marker is the 6 October EU Technical Committee vote. 9. Evercore ISI, via Bloomberg, called Muse evidence that Meta's roughly $200 billion of AI investment "have not been in vain," and flagged advertising, subscriptions and transaction revenue-share as monetisation paths. Muse also sits inside WhatsApp, so standalone downloads understate reach. Connect usage stats are the next hard test. That was Monday's US cash tape. Numbers above are from the named sources at draft time.

A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY. Here's a full recap: 1. US indexes finished mixed as the 10-year Treasury yield climbed to 5.00%. The S&P 500 closed 7,650.50 (+0.2%), the Dow 51,682.64 (−0.2%), the Nasdaq 26,522.55 (+0.4%), and the Russell 2000 2,860.40 (−0.5%). For the week the S&P was roughly flat (−0.1%) while the Nasdaq held a 0.7% gain (AP via Seattle Times). 2. $AMAT Applied Materials led the session after announcing a $5bn India programme over the next decade at SEMICON India, centred on research, supply-chain scale-up and a proposed 140-acre research park near Bengaluru. Shares closed $444.46 (+6.48%) from the prior close of $417.40 (Reuters / Exa). 3. Semis stayed bid. $MU Micron closed $1,014.70 (+3.81%), $AMD finished $559.82 (+2.70%), $AVGO Broadcom $357.44 (+2.92%), $ARM Arm $275.69 (+4.07%), and $NVDA Nvidia $222.08 (+1.25%). $TSM TSMC added 0.99% to $434.54. $INTC Intel was little changed at $108.60 (−0.18%) (Exa). 4. Anthropic capacity talk stayed on the tape: circulating briefs put available compute near 5 GW by year-end 2026 and about 10 GW in 2027, up from roughly 1.5 GW last year, alongside the existing $AMZN Amazon partnership of up to 5 GW. That is gigawatt booking, not a model-name story (NYT via Bloomberg Law / Anthropic Amazon note / sit-under parents). 5. Loudoun County, Virginia (Data Centre Alley) voted to pause Board consideration of certain legislative data-centre and substation applications while Phase 2 standards are written, with staff returning 20 Oct. The vote was 7-1-1; by-right grandfathered cases are outside the pause (Loudoun County statement / Bloomberg). 6. $ORCL Oracle's earlier Texas wind package (more than 1.7 GW across ten projects feeding ERCOT for the Abilene AI campus, including a 433 MW RWE VPPA) stayed in the infra frame. Shares closed $147.60 (−1.99%) after Thursday's AI-cloud bounce (Oracle PR / RWE / Exa). 7. $BTDR Bitdeer printed hard after disclosing a 10-year deal for a 65.1 MW A202 AI facility at its Johor Bahru campus (energise Q3 2027), lifting secured AI Cloud capacity to about 206.5 MW and an estimated active pipeline above $7bn. Shares closed $12.98 (+15.48%) (GlobeNewswire / Exa). 8. Mag-7 split under the 5% 10-year. $META Meta closed $665.38 (−2.48%). $MSFT Microsoft $493.11 (−0.93%). $AAPL Apple $335.58 (−0.42%). $AMZN Amazon $253.51 (+0.92%). $GOOG Alphabet $344.22 (+0.16%). $TSLA Tesla $364.22 (−0.54%) (Exa). 9. AI infra names held a bid. $CRWV CoreWeave closed $81.31 (+1.79%). $PLTR Palantir $177.52 (+0.73%). Separately, Wedbush's Dan Ives framed expected AI spend as still less than 15% through ("third inning"), while Elon Musk said AI could roughly double US GDP growth next year from about 2% to about 4% (Exa / ArkkDaily sit-under parents). 10. Brazil's ReData data-centre tax regime stayed in the weekly infra stack: public write-ups put the 2026 tax waiver near R$5.2bn (about $1bn), with about R$1bn projected for each of the next two years under Law 15.504 (DCD / Valor / Brazil in English). Figures from AP, Reuters, Loudoun County, Oracle/RWE, GlobeNewswire, Bloomberg Law/Anthropic notes and Exa dated prints for 18 Sep 2026. Not financial advice.

A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY. Here's a full recap: 1. US equities clawed back most of the week after the Fed hike. The S&P 500 closed 7,637.76 (+1.1%), the Dow 51,778.04 (+0.6%), the Nasdaq 26,418.30 (+1.7%), and the Russell 2000 2,874.63 (+0.6%). The 10-year yield eased to 4.93% and Brent fell about 1% (AP). 2. $NVDA Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said chip sales in 2027 should reach double 2026 levels, speaking at an AI summit in Scotland. Public reports did not disclose the baseline or product scope. Shares closed about +2.5% on the session (Bloomberg / TradingKey). 3. $NVDA also had fresh MLPerf Inference v6.1 preview numbers on Vera Rubin NVL72: up to 3.7x throughput versus GB300 NVL72 on Qwen3-VL, and up to 2.5x on DeepSeek-R1. SemiAnalysis AgentX preview testing put agent throughput per megawatt up to 30x versus GB300 (NVIDIA blog 16 Sep). 4. $INTC Intel closed $108.80 (+7.67%) on continued SK Hynix US-memory talk, even after SK Hynix said nothing is finalised. Barclays lifted the stock from Underperform to Overweight. Separately, CEO Lip-Bu Tan told Splunk's .conf26 that CPU demand is so high Intel can only serve about 50% of customers (Motley Fool / Seoul Economic Daily). 5. Memory and semis led the tape. $MU Micron rose about 5.5% to $977.50. $ARM Arm jumped about 8.6%, $AMD closed $545.09 (+6.36%), and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose about 3.1% (TradingKey / Motley Fool). 6. $CRWV CoreWeave said Q3 short-dated (roughly 3 to 6 month) compute contracts are pricing near $40M per megawatt on an annualised basis. It also flagged more than $25B of net new customer commitments early in Q3 and contracted power of about 4.2GW as of 11 Aug, up from 3.7GW at end-June. Separately it launched a $3B convertible debt sale (CoreWeave / Reuters). 7. $NBIS Nebius said it will raise pay-as-you-go prices for selected $NVDA Nvidia GPUs from 1 Oct, the second hike in three months. Selected GPU rates rise between 17% and 21%. Some CPU-only instances rise about 25% and some memory offerings about 41%. Nebius also cited four customer contracts averaging more than $1B each (Reuters). 8. $MRVL Marvell, $MSFT Microsoft and Utimaco put Azure Payment HSM v2 into public preview from 17 Sep in the Western US and Western Europe. The managed service combines Marvell LiquidSecurity HSMs, Utimaco Atalla payments software and Azure for PCI-style payment workloads (Utimaco / Marvell PR). A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY. Here's a full recap: 1. The Federal Reserve raised its main rate by 25 basis points to a 3.50% to 3.75% target range, the first hike since 2023, and Chair Kevin Warsh sounded hawkish on inflation that "has lasted for too long." The S&P 500 closed at 7,551.81 (-0.45%), the Dow fell 1.21% to 51,461.90, and the Nasdaq barely moved (-0.01%) to 25,978.42. The 10-year Treasury yield finished near 5.02% (AP; Motley Fool). 2. Semis and AI networking held up against the rate move. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose 0.63% to 11,246.11. Optical and interconnect names led: $LITE Lumentum +9.59%, $CRDO Credo +7.38%, $COHR Coherent +6.81%, $ALAB Astera Labs +6.59%, and $MRVL Marvell +3.61% (TradingKey). 3. $SPCX SpaceX rose 5.15% to $150.88 after SpaceX set Starship Flight 14 for as soon as 22 Sep (pending regulatory approval), targeting the programme's first Earth-orbital attempt and deployment of 26 Starlink V3 satellites from Starbase (SpaceX; TradingKey). 4. $AAPL Apple is developing an enterprise AI server built around planned M8 Ultra chips and has discussed using $NVDA Nvidia NVLink Fusion interconnect, The Information reported via Reuters and Bloomberg. The machines would target AI developers, companies and governments, with a reported timeline no earlier than 2029, and the project could still change or drop Nvidia gear (Reuters; Bloomberg). 5. $NVDA Nvidia, $GOOG Google and Emerald AI launched the AI Energy Management Alliance to push data centres that flex power use with the grid, aiming for faster interconnection. Google has committed about 1 GW of curtailable demand in utility agreements; Nvidia's blog frames grid access as a central bottleneck for AI factories (Nvidia blog; Axios). 6. $INTC Intel closed at $101.05 (+4.03%) after Reuters reported exploratory talks for $SKHY SK Hynix to make memory chips in the US, including a possible lease of part of Intel's Ohio site or a joint venture with cloud firms. SK Hynix said no specific plans are finalised; Intel declined to comment on what it called speculation (CNBC; Reuters; Motley Fool). 7. Chip leaders still finished green: $NVDA Nvidia closed at $213.90 (+0.82%), $AMD Advanced Micro Devices at $512.50 (+1.65%), and $TSM TSMC at $417.72 (+1.23%) even as the broader tape faded after the Fed (market prints; Motley Fool). 8. Rate-sensitive mega-caps lagged. $MSFT Microsoft closed at $490.36 (-1.36%), $AMZN Amazon at $245.84 (-1.04%), and $GOOGL Alphabet at $342.85 (-0.62%) as traders priced a firmer path for policy after Warsh's press conference (market prints; TradingKey). 9. $META Meta closed at $673.31 (+0.46%). Mark Zuckerberg rejected an industry-wide AI slowdown and kept focus on company-level safety, while Meta's 2026 capex guide remains $130bn to $145bn. For AI spend, the market test stays whether hyperscaler budgets and delivery schedules hold (Reuters; reporting on Meta IR guide). The Fed moved. The AI stack mostly held the line.

Three SpaceXAI teammates are building a company from a blank slate in 72 hours with Grok Bot as the staff. Matt Palmer (@mattyp), Lauren Tan (@poteto), and Roshan Sadanani (@roshan_s) kicked off Grok Bot Galaxy on Sept 15 from a San Francisco studio near Moscone. No pre-chosen name, product, or idea. The rule is simple: humans stay at the core, Grok Bot does the actual work. Day 1 ran about 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pacific. They stood up company ops live: a GitHub org called Ship by Thursday, the domain shipbythurs.day, Slack, Notion as the company handbook, Cursor plus cloud agents, and marketplace connectors including X. Working names floated around Ship by Thursday and Potato Lab while they locked an idea and started shipping. The stream mixed the live build with role sessions so viewers could see the same agent stack used for different jobs: • Grok Bot 101 • Engineering • Product • Founders Guests dropped in on market research, distribution, and GTM. The team’s definition of a real business kept coming back to the same tests: something people want, money in a bank account, they dogfood it themselves, and it serves humans (and agents acting for humans). Today is Day 2. The focus shifts to sales engineering, sales, SDR workflows, and customer support. Day 3 covers marketing ops, post-sales, and marketing. Replay of Day 1 is up, and the rest of the build is still live. This is less a polished demo and more a public stress test of AI teammates on founder work: research, planning, product calls, engineering, and ops, mistakes included.

A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY. Here's a full recap: 1. The US 10-year Treasury yield tagged 5.041% intraday, its highest level since 2007, and still finished near 5.00% (NY Post, Kiplinger). Futures priced roughly a 94% chance of a 25bp Fed rate rise at Wednesday's decision, which would be the first hike in three years if it lands (CME FedWatch via NY Post). The Dow closed 0.6% lower at 52,092, the S&P 500 0.5% lower at 7,585, and the Nasdaq 0.8% lower at 25,981 (Kiplinger). At a 5% 10-year, long-duration AI and growth multiples get less free air. 2. AI safety talk kept hanging over the tape. Reuters (15 Sep) said investors remain nervous after weekend calls from AI leaders, including Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, to slow frontier development, after Monday's semiconductor flush. BofA still models hyperscaler capex near $795bn in 2026 and about $1.08tn in 2027 across $MSFT Microsoft, $GOOGL Alphabet, $AMZN Amazon, $META Meta, and $ORCL Oracle. Words are not cancelled data-centre orders, but the picks-and-shovels layer is what got repriced first. 3. $QCOM Qualcomm led the GPU/CPU complex, up about 4.2% to $187.62 on the cash session (Longbridge). StoneX reiterated Buy with a $270 target, and the market kept trading the early-September AWS custom AI-inference and optical collaboration that can count up to $60bn of qualifying payments over a decade (Money Rise Today, company filings). Handsets are the old earnings base. Data-centre silicon is the optionality the stock is pricing. 4. $NVDA Nvidia closed about 0.5% higher near $212 while the Nasdaq fell (Longbridge, Kiplinger). Jensen Huang joined a live All-In Summit call with President Trump, who labelled recent AI-safety panic a "hoax," and Huang said "everybody wins in the AI race in America" (Kiplinger). On a red index day, a green $NVDA print was the market saying order books still matter more than weekend rhetoric. 5. $TSLA Tesla and SpaceX Terafab got a clearer rationale at All-In. Elon Musk said it is "build TeraFab or fail to scale," framing the plant as insurance if Taiwan chips become unavailable and as capacity for AI servers, humanoid robots, cars, and space compute (TeslaNorth, All-In Summit). The path is crawl, walk, run, starting with an Austin R&D fab aimed at something useful by the end of 2027. The bottleneck story is foundry capacity, not demand for compute. 6. $SWKS Skyworks jumped about 13.6% and $QRVO Qorvo about 9.3% as management reiterated confidence that their roughly $22bn combination closes this year (Kiplinger). RF and mixed-signal names tied to $AAPL Apple supply ripped while mega-cap tech stayed soft. Merger certainty was a cleaner catalyst than AI-doom headlines. 7. $AMD Advanced Micro Devices rose about 2.4% to roughly $505 after Monday's AI-scare washout, while $AVGO Broadcom still slipped about 1.5% to $339.57 on the same tape (Longbridge). $ARM Arm gained about 1.3% to $242 and $MRVL Marvell about 1.5% to $222. The bounce was selective: GPU and IP peers healed faster than the already-expensive networking and custom-silicon complex. 8. Mega-cap AI spenders were not a single trade under a 5% 10-year. $META Meta finished about $670 (up roughly 0.7% from the open in session prints), $AAPL Apple closed about 0.5% lower, and $NVDA's modest gain stood out against the Nasdaq's 0.8% drop (market data via Exa/Kiplinger). When discount rates jump, the market stops paying one multiple for every AI-adjacent ticker. Yields set the ceiling. Chip selection underneath it told you who still had a buyer.
