Today the Managing Editors of @thenewdigest are proud to present "Leo XIV, Classical Jurist"--a reflection on the thoroughly classical (and certainly not positivist) jurisprudential thought of the Holy Father, Pope Leo. Link below. Enjoy!

Leo XIV is a doctor of canon law (did you know?) and has already reaffirmed the classical view of law in clear and powerful terms. Today @thenewdigest.
Enjoy!

Great to get the hard copy @ClarusPress of my new book with Gerry Whyte.
We argue the Irish constitution, properly construed against its natural law/catholic social teaching philosophical/ historical backdrop, provides protection against extreme poverty and deprivation.
We also evaluate the modestly valuable role public interest litigation has had in protecting vulnerable citizens like those with special educational needs, at risk children, and the homeless. ⬇️
