Shane Gillis can never walk into a gym again. Thank God for him he still has Joe Rogan’s all-male bathhouse and spa. He’ll never have to see women bettering themselves again. I’m sure he and the Girls Gone Bible crew can be modest together.

My last 6 posts were about Digger. Since seeing it October 1, food tastes differently, my perspective on real life has changed, & the way I watch movies has dramatically shifted. Everything feels flatter than it probably is. We need more thrilling films. If only for the soul.

Part of the beauty of the Digger play is that it’s the only way we the audience see him. When Cruise starts ranting how he was more complex, we never get to see that nuance. We see him as Kenny and the artists want him seen. As both a larger than life antihero and as complicit.

To think in a few minutes he’ll go from “wtf have I done” to “this was the plan all along!” is still the best thing I saw all year in a cinema .
