Fantasy Top did $10M in fees in two weeks with one idea. We took that idea and made it hyperspeculative.

one thing i always hated about other founders/projects: poor communication with their community and i just caught myself making the same mistake, too deep in building @hypestgg so here's the update: this week we're launching the Hype Hub. eligible users can spend points to pull cards of real CT influencers. once the game is live, those cards earn based on how that influencer's posts perform on X in real time. check eligibility: checker.hypest.gg (+ one more big announcement coming) i think hypest has every shot at becoming the loudest game on Robinhood Chain, and we'll do everything to make it happen you're not bullish enough

Played Fantasy Top? You’re eligible. Hypest takes the same idea and makes it hyperspeculative: collect CT influencer cards that will earn in real time from every post they make. Your Hype Points are how you get your first cards.
Check your Hype Points allocation here: checker.hypest.gg No need to connect your wallet, just paste your address or X username

some raw thoughts on building in crypto vs. consumer so far. and to preface, it’s been generally fun, but the contrasts are very noticeable: - there are nearly no real distribution channels. and the ones that do exist (like KOLs) charge disproportionate amounts without verifiable attribution beyond referrals (which users often avoid!). think up to $1/impression, while in consumer you can be at ~$1 CPM - users are way more involved, naturally, for better and for worse. the upside is that they can become that key distribution channel you’re missing! - esp when you’re designing a flywheel or adding a new mechanic, a surprising amount of time goes into thinking through second-order behavior (likely to be truer on gamefi than other crypto niches) - userbase metrics like to peak at launch instead of compounding over time (similar to social products with viral launches). naturally a skill diff though! we're working to amend this - generally much higher expectations around access to the team, something you don’t really see in any other industry - there's a constant tension between building for the users you have today vs. building for the next wave got more. maybe post later if this gets interest we keep going boys

i remember fantasy.top in 2024 and i remember how fun it was i remember bigcoin/addicted in 2025 and i remember how fun it was for 6-7 months starting november 2025 we were building a game around ct influencers. the idea was that players take ct influencers as slaves and make money off them all that time we were endlessly building, rebuilding, changing stuff, running audits, adding shit. and at some point we looked at the final result and came to a brutally unpleasant conclusion: the economic model looked "well thought out" but there was zero room for fun and speculation in it. and without that the game is dead on arrival people love fun. and people love money. so we started reworking one thing, then another, and it became obvious it's better to just fucking start from scratch. on top of that twitter started banning the game's account for "sensitive content" and after all that shit i realized endless perfectionism is a road to nowhere. had to kill it end of may. and here comes the announcement that fantasy.top is shutting down. and i thought: what if we take the concept of that game in its purest form and combine it with the economic model of every hyped crypto game from the last year? that's how HYPEST (@hypestgg) was born basically fantasy.top on steroids with fun added on top: ct influencer cards, gacha mechanics, level progression and a token that drives the whole economy hard to think of a better place to launch a game like this right now than Robinhood Chain IT'S GONNA BE LIT

Fantasy Top is dead. So we built a hyper speculative version of it on @RobinhoodApp

being a founder of something can be very roughly split into two things first is building your shit second is distributing your shit the last 8-9 months i pissed away on pseudo building, endlessly polishing my game, mechanics, design and so on while other dudes spent a quarter of their energy and time on building max, and the other three quarters on distribution in this equation distribution is the thing that matters most, that's where the biggest focus should be something mega viral is coming on robinhood chain @hypestgg

This is probably a good spot to build a viral social app/game on @solana Wellspring of active capital & retail participants, not a ton of founders building here so less competition Base publicly ceded this category Perfect conditions for a new Pumpfun/Friendtech/DRiP etc. IMO

you must believe you are special and then go so hard, for so long, with such violent refusal to accept any other ending, that reality itself starts running out of ways to tell you no. you must wage a war daily against the ordinary outcome, until the belief you invented out of nothing in a room by yourself has been hammered into the world so many times that it stops being a claim and becomes reality.

solid breakdown but a few things worth correcting from someone who reverse-engineered the economy: 1. the daily revenue going up isn't "people leaving." the model was designed from the start for daily $jail emissions to keep climbing. day one it was around 18-20m $jail/day. right now it's at 183m. that's the mechanism working as intended. 2. the closed launch was a deliberate call, same playbook they've run since infected. this time it was just way more pronounced. 3. a team changing economy rules mid-game is what every competent game team does. you can't model all the variables ahead of a launch. only real move on day one is ship your best guess and watch. my read: they realized 0.6 sol breeding + 6h cooldown meant players would take forever to reach epic prisoners, if ever. killing the sol fee and cutting the cooldown also spiked short-term token demand hard, which the chart shows. but they kept the 6h listing lock after dropping breeding to 15min and that part was genuinely scummy. it manufactured a momentary frenzy on prisoners, uncommons hit 8 sol, while guaranteeing the market would collapse within hours as more people cleared their listing lock. which it did. between that and the min listing price floor, common & uncommon trading basically died 3-4 hours after the change. 4. the take on no incentive for new users is correct and there's not much they can do to reverse it now. two culprits: a 4-day linear tax starting at 50%, and no real reason to buy the token at launch since every meaningful cost was in sol. 5. the communication take is the one i agree with most. that's their weakest spot by far. near-zero transparency, no announcements or explanations from the project account or any team member. @weretuna my g you could do better

The risk/reward of putting your capital in crypto has never looked worse. Not only are returns getting compressed, but AI is massively increasing the attack surface for hacks. Crypto is no longer the best place on the internet to achieve financial freedom.
