I've seen people complaining about how 'Whalefall' will make people scared of whales. I mean I'm pretty sure the vast majority of the population is scared of gigantic multi-ton animals even if they don't attack humans.

This is one of the situations where any 'explanation' would not be enough and people wouldn't be happy no matter what.

Like if Friday the 13th was a modern day franchise, people would riot at the mere thought of something like 'Jason Lives' or 'The New Blood' even being made.

Modern days fans can't accept anything new in the franchises they love. Then they'll complain about things becoming repetitive and stagnant.

I've always loved the F13 franchise. Always. As a fan I can't understand the hatred some people have for the new series just because it's set in an alt timeline and it creates a new origin story for Jason. F13's lore was always over the place with fans filling in the gaps.

I don't think it's happening, but imagine if the 'anniversary gift' for JWE3 is one of these each month until the year ends?
