I think it funny and strategically unsound “cut people off” over political differences. Funny because the Messiah you so much believe in and who presumably hates bad governance more than you meets and laughs with the people who are supposedly governing the country badly.
Strategically unsound because it is sabotaging of the “good governance” objective, the attainment of which rests on a game of number. So, rather than cut off people with differing views, persistently challenging their views with a view to winning them over seems more sound.
In secondary school, there was a guy that was quite bullisome and feared in school. His parents came to school following an incident and they were reportedly shock to hear of his hooliganistic behavior cos na Alfa for house🤣
Meanwhile, why is the hijab standard for exam different from the one for classes? Aren't bar aspirants supposedly being trained to be a certain “fit and proper”? If a standard is good for classes, then it should be good for exams. There is no need for inconsistency.
You shouldn't expect people to easily compromise simply because of the significance of what is at stake, especially when the request is unjustified. They should just remove hijab because “it's bar finals”. There are bigger factors, likely incomprehensible to you, at play.
Quite related. About 9 years ago, I reviewed an aknowledgment where the student had, while acknowledging God, written "You are the best God".
The Supervisor asked, "are there other Gods?" 🤣

Indeed, there was a time that man was not a thing mentioned at all. Today, he has a name, a profession, many wins, and the company of good people.
Grateful for another year.
Looking back, I've failed at romantic affairs largely because my need for intermittent breaks was poorly communicated or poorly understood. I am naturally averse to chores, especially those disguised as intimacy.
