The final work from my PhD was just published today! After mapping genes to a new assembly with Liftoff, the next question is always how do the genes differ in the new assembly? LiftoffTools automates the comparison of gene sequences, copy number and synteny.
@alaina_shumate has augmented her terrific Liftoff annotation program (pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3332…) with a nice set of analysis tools, just out today on @F1000Research f1000research.com/articles/1…
