June is National PTSD Awareness Month. Trauma leaves a lasting imprint, and for many young people, those invisible wounds can deeply impact their education and daily well-being.
Thank you #CALeg for rejecting or delaying Medi-Cal cuts and including the Fair Share from Big Corporations Act in the joint legislative budget. These steps help protect families from coverage loss and strengthen our health systems. We urge @CAGovernor to uphold these priorities.
Today, we commemorate Juneteenth and the enduring strength, joy, and brilliance of the Black community. As we reflect on the history of freedom and systemic struggle, we are reminded that true liberation must include health equity.
