Over the last year, I've been working on rag & bone's brand strategy, leading to this launch campaign - following Cara Delevingne on tour as she wrapped up her debut US Tour.
We tried to do something different by embedding the collection into the tour and capturing it along the way. A whole month of activity follows, including another tour documentary with a certain NY Indie Rock icon.

Needless to say, and quite proud of this one.
Alarmingly good list. The Astoria (and the LA2) were / are a huge loss. Also, my second-ever gig was seeing XFM's launch week w/Spirtualized at the Garage.

Keith Jarrett’s solo performance of “Over the Rainbow” in Tokyo in 1984 is widely regarded as one of the most outstanding and moving piano solo covers of all time. Rather than simply restating the familiar melody, the legendary pianist infused the piece with new life through his brilliant improvisation, refined harmonic structure, and profound emotional depth.

Netflix wants to lead culture, but its obsession w/ data means waiting for audiences to validate show before committing to more. Then we get 18 months between seasons.
Sorry. Can't lead culture by waiting for it to tell you where to go.
I can smell Park Slope from here.
Hannah, a single mother of two boys, readily admits that she might be a tad permissive as a parent. She doesn’t name her philosophy as “gentle parenting” or “respectful parenting” or “intentional parenting” — though she’s familiar with these buzzwords. This softer approach, however, doesn’t necessarily get results. Hannah is getting tired of the escalating back talk, throwing, and ruthless negotiating. She wonders if she’s been too soft. No one wants to usher in a generation of entitled jerks. But are well-meaning gentle parents doing just that?
“The gentle-parenting movement has taken a valid idea — respecting our children’s emotions — and pushed it to the point where the power dynamic is flipped, and kids are running the show,” writes Elizabeth Passarella. “In the process of evolving away from traditional discipline and toward gentler strategies that might not be instinctive, many of us have ended up in a weird place.”

This is increasingly the only side of corporate life here in the US. Rotten is an understatement.
The ugly side of the corporate world: you can help build an empire, dedicate years of your life to it, and still find yourself out the door when the game changes. The Bela Bajaria–Netflix exit raises some uncomfortable questions about loyalty in business. thefilmworld.co/news/bela-ba…
This is really really well done. (Even if you don't like NFL, the level of complexity here is crazy.)
Ever wondered what goes into making a play-call in 40 seconds?

Oooh that “after careful consideration, we’ve decided to move forward with another candidate” email hits like crack.

Introducing our October 2026 L’OFFICIEL Hommes USA cover star: #AustinAbrams.
Hollywood’s next leading man is here. Over the past 15 years, Abrams has steadily built a body of work marked by high-profile roles in projects ranging from ‘The Walking Dead’ and ‘Euphoria’ to ‘Weapons.’ Now, after a leading role in ‘Resident Evil’ and with ‘Whalefall’ on the horizon, Abrams is entering a defining chapter in his career. For any creative on the verge of a new era, uncertainty can be daunting, but for Abrams, it’s all part of the process. “I’m just going day by day with it,” he says of the calm before the storm. “But I feel pretty good.”
That self-assuredness comes from a lifelong pursuit of the craft. “I was pretty settled on acting at a young age,” he says. “I remember thinking, I need to do this for the rest of my life, which was a pretty intense thought at that time.”

Shout out to the Calvin comms team, who must be thanking their lucky stars that Kering announced McGirr’s departure minutes later.
If you can’t read this, you’re effectively illiterate.
Angelina Jolie left a handwritten thank you note for hotel staff while filming ‘Maria’ in Greece, and the internet is struggling to figure out what it says.
The note has resurfaced and racked up millions of views, with people trying to decipher every word.

The images appear to be AI-upscaled or altered versions of the original note shared by the hotel. The note reads: "Thank you for a restful stay at your beautiful resort. The “Maria” cast had a lovely time here. With love, Angelina Jolie."
