🚨🆕 MUSIC ALERT: Nija / @amnija_ (originally from Union NJ) went Hollywood years ago. She’s been hailed by @RollingStone as one of music’s most sought-after songwriters. @InStyle listed her among its “Badass 50.” Pundits point to her as the brain behind some of the biggest hits.
“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” 🙏 Today we honor Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy. #MLKday

Alexander Simone (@trulyasimone) from #AsburyPark, has it in his blood. His grandmother was the legendary #NinaSimone. Starting in the church, he got swayed early by #Motown & #SamCooke. His unerring solo soul captivates & hypnotizes. 🎹 #TheJerseySound

🆕📰 #EXCLUSIVE: When people a hundred years from now read about American icons like #WoodyGuthrie, #PeteSeeger and #BruceSpringsteen, they’ll most likely be reading the words of #BobSantelli.
How does a handsome blonde-haired blue-eyed kid from the #JerseyShore go from being a beach bum who surfs, loves Bruce, and can string a few sentences together, to become someone who literally moves the music forward with his innate passion for the subject?

A 1960s #pioneer of the #AsburyPark sound, @Storm1nNorman fuses R’n’B, Blues, Pop, Doo-Wop, Rock’n’Roll, and Jazz into one good-timey smorgasbord of soul. Long before Clarence Clemons met Bruce, it was Seldin who gave The Big Man his start.
His 2008 #AsburyPark Now & Then album features some 1980 tracks with The E. Street Band. Look outside Asbury Park Convention Hall and his name is etched on a “Sounds Of Asbury Park” plaque with 34 others.
