“Yeah, once. Superman bring him in to meet with us about some safety lesson,” he said. “Wasn’t exactly my favorite day.” Just to remember makes him shake his head.
“But yeah, we can always ask the man himself.”
Freedom! After her jump, Conner finally manages to shrug his shoulders—god, it felt good.
“Come on, he ain’t that bad. You just have to remember that he’s some dude dressed in a fancy Halloween costume.”
“He’s the son of a bat. From what I know, bats never cry.”
He’s joking, obviously but truth be told, Artemis has a point. Even in the most heartbreaking of situations, Robin never sheds a tear.
“Let’s ask Batman.”
“Your well-being, for once.”

“I really don’t want Robin to cry over me because of your irresponsibility.”
Artemis, always full of surprises. Conner shakes his head, trying to not lose the balance.
“Hey, hey. Be careful over there!”
“All the time,” offers yet another shrug, taking another bite. Too bad that he isn’t Wally.

He offers a casual shrug of shoulders, a smirk creeping on the right corner of his lips.
“No, you don’t,” Conner said, taking a bite on the so-delicious Snickers’ bar. “But, I really don’t -
“I hate you, sometimes.” Conner shakes his head slightly, but the smile never fade. In an instant, the boy manages to find and grab two Snickers packs and then returns to Artemis. “Now, beg for one.”
It isn’t exactly Conner’s fault; his mind is pretty much a never-ending storm of bad shit. Anyway, he tries to smile.
“A snickers? I mean, yeah sure.” xitter.cf/QuipsWithArrows/status…
