After reading the @TheAthletic article about how shitty of an owner @TDCanes is in his short time here and all of the elite people who worked for this organization for YEARS were just fired. I have to once again walk away from #RipCity it’s disgusting what Tom is doing. I’m still pissed about the nepotism with his defacing of the @StanleyCup. Now he’s firing these amazing people? I’m done, done. @ChadinRipCity and I have discussed in the past about how excited I was that the Allen family was selling and how I can come back and be a Blazers fan again. That we can finally get excited for a new owner who wants to win. Nope, this is the absolute opposite. He’s firing elite people at their positions for no reason and they were fantastic at their job. I was born in Portland and I remember the 80’s and 90’s as a kid growing up and getting the cards from the bread loaf. Watching the Team on the tv and the playoff battles with Malone every season. Knowing he was going to throw them bows and when Brian Grant finally fought back. Watching the greatness that was Kersey, Clifford, Porter, Sabobis, Wallace, etc. This will never happen again. I’m walking away, again… Thanks @TDCanes for ruining my Childhood memories and Team worst than anyone could’ve imagined. You’re a; entitled, selfish and a smug punk. To the people TD fired.
