Your competitors love that you’re still using legacy engineering tools. Two weeks ago, we launched Trinity. The response has been overwhelming. The great hardware engineering retooling is here. @tracedotspace is driving it.

Children’s robotics is a scam. We’re selling parents a dream that doesn’t exist. We’re building robots for the wrong generation. I want to change that.

I built Trinity @tracedotspace to help engineers tackle humanity’s greatest challenges and scale Physical AI. Trinity is an AI agent harness, with the engineer at the center of the story. That’s why this video was made on physical tape without any AI involved. We believe the taste and judgment of engineers matter more than ever. As AI agents take on more of the work, engineers will decide what’s worth building, which problems matter, and what a great solution looks like. Agents should give them more freedom to solve the problems they got into engineering for.

Trace.Space has launched Trinity, the agent harness that makes scaling physical AI – robots, autonomous vehicles, drones, spaceships and other hardware – possible by bringing all engineering data into a single graph, so engineers and their agents can scale their production faster and with less risk. Janis Vavere @thehotguyintech for @tech_eu on the next bottleneck in hardware engineering: as AI makes it faster to build and test hardware, the hard part becomes keeping track of what is being built, and how to manufacture it at scale. Read more: tech.eu/2026/10/01/tracespac…

Ten years ago I wrote a Master's thesis on requirements management together with my co-founder Karlis Broders. Today I am launching Trinity - the AI harness that makes scaling physical AI possible. When agentic models came out earlier this year, @tracedotspace was the first in the world to deploy agentic systems engineering in production and we started learning from the best teams in the world like Serve Robotics, Xiphos, StandardX. Those learnings became Trinity, we have added Variants, Design Parameters and Deterministic Rules to create the first agentic harness for hardware R&D. The physical AI future is impossible without Trinity!

Our founders, Janis Vavere (@thehotguyintech and Karlis Broders, have worked on this problem for more than a decade. They built Trace.Space on one connected graph from day one, knowing AI would eventually be able to do real engineering work with the right foundation.

For the past year, I've been keeping a list of SF's most dateable people. It's time the public sees it. This week, San Francisco's Hot List goes live. I have my picks, but want to see if I'm missing anyone. Drop a name or two. known.com/hotlist

💯 Nevertheless, this is the first time I hear a name Higgsfield. So I guess they are also extremely good at targeting.
Higgsfield have scaled to $1BN in ARR in 18 months; that is faster than Cursor. But did you know they have over 150 people in content production alone? For every product release, funding announcement, you name it, they have built a content machine that is unmatched. The next generation of companies will have content baked into their DNA.

Content creation is cringe but all the good things are on the other side of cringe.

The last thing you should worry about is that someone will steal your idea. Ideas are easy. The grind of execution is what will get you.

Your best engineers should not be building internal tooling. For many years the most advanced hardware companies in the world could only succeed because they put their best engineers on building internal tooling to support software-defined hardware R&D. A few months ago, we decided to bring this type of tooling to everyone in the world and we have super exciting announcements coming in the next few weeks.

The future does not exist. Yet. We have all been promised the embodied AI - the autonomous robots, the rockets that land themselves, the autonomous cars. They exist as fancy demos, as prototypes, as small production runs. But what about scale? Scale is impossible without @tracedotspace. This is the team that is enabling hardware companies to make the future a reality.

Young founders think that the only way to ship fast is by burning out their teams. I beg to differ.
