HC: post retirement, Ilya gets really involved in the Russian cultural center. He plays chess w/ the elderly folks, trades recipes and gossip w/ the other parents, and ends up as one of the sitters/daycare teachers, doing language immersion for kids/grandkids of immigrants
and to just enjoy some form of creative expression. I post it to share with others and hope it brightens their day or entertains them or makes them feel something. Everyone is too fucking uptight about all this, like have a gracious heart or just stay out of fandom
