Yesterday, I was barred from entering the West Bank by Israeli officials, as part of a @ProgIntl delegation.
What's happening here in Palestine is unjust. We've just witnessed what Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and many others have called a genocide unfold in Gaza.
We came here to show the world, and to show solidarity with the Palestinian people. The Israeli government didn't allow that.

I'm a British Jew living in an area controlled by the Greens. I'm proud that the Greens are acting to end our twinning with Haifa in Israel and our investments in genocide-complicit companies. Hackney Labour opposes both these practical steps to support Palestinians.
Whatever your views/position on the Middle East, the fact that an MP has to stand up in Parliament and ask for ‘protection’ for the British Jewish community is an utter disgrace.
I say this as someone who is critical of the Israeli government and is no fan of Netanyahu.
The Green Party and its cheerleaders can pivot as much as they like but their actions are divisive and will do nothing in practical terms for the Palestinian people.
