THE VALLEY OF SAGE AND JUNIPER
1930s Rocky Mountain West. Two sisters. A ranch. A cult.

When @Hozier released a new ep while you were ovulating and now you get no whiskey and no coffee for 9 months🧍🏾♀️
This is the best balloon day gift! 🥰

#ParentingHack: When your kid tells you to come look at something right after you just sat down, hand them your phone and tell them to take a picture of it, then bring it back and show you.

I'm supposed to be going low-carb for gestational diabetes, but my neighbor brought over fresh made sourdough, and I am weak😭
My son can never remember the word "freckle" and instead regularly points out all his "nipples." 🤦🏾♀️
Thing I never thought I'd say as a parent: "My butt doesn't have any ears, bud, so I'm going to need to come over here and say it to my face."
When you drive your spouse's car to the store and forget, so you stand in the parking in a mild panic for a second thinking your car was stolen 🧍🏾♀️
Looking forward to working with Heather!
Next up: We’re excited to welcome #AWPW2W mentor @TheGallowCat, author of the novel THE VALLEY OF SAGE AND JUNIPER. Her mentee is Heather Bailey Terrell; she has published nonfiction & works in a science museum but is eager to work on her novel. Can’t wait to see what lies ahead!
If you choose to have children, your entire family should remain cloistered until the kids are 18--the age at which children instinctively know how to behave in public. Then no one has to ever hear you complain or brag about your kids.
Follow for more tips on social improvement.
If these kids don't get their act together I'm gonna end up flipping all my classes so lecture materials are completed outside of class and they'll be handwriting graded assignments in the classroom.
A student legit just asked me if there was a way for them to not make their copy-pasted AI-produced assignment submission not sound like it was written by AI. 🤦🏾♀️
It's cute how students think I, the person teaching them writing, won't recognize an AI-written submission.
As soon as my son's hair starts to grow over his ears, my mother-in-law starts to comment that he could do with a hair cut.
On an unrelated note, my son's hair only starts to curl once it's past his ears.
Getting to the point where I just start wearing my warm weather clothes in protest, manifesting the sun.
