Wealth inequality is to a society what temperature is to the human body. The body tolerate some deviation, but too much will kill it. The same with wealth inequality. Society cannot survive this level of wealth concentration. xitter.cf/BenjaminNorton/status/…
The richest 0.001% of the world population own 3 times the wealth of half of humanity. That means just 56,000 people have 3 times as much wealth as 4,000,000,000 (4 billion) people. The richest 10% of the world population have 75% of wealth. The bottom 50% only have 2%. Link: theguardian.com/news/2025/de…

🚨This short film exposes the true story of Israel's creation, entirely through the words of its own founders For decades, Israel’s lies have been carefully designed to demonize its victims. To ensure that no matter the crimes it commits, the children it slaughters, the world remains incapable of empathy for Palestinians, or at best, treats it with the same apathy that has allowed this to go on for as long as it has On the 78th anniversary of its creation, it's time the world knew that Israel's past is not different from the brutal present the world is finally seeing

A timely reminder that leaked Israeli studies found that pushing pro-Israel propaganda to Westerners didnt work & instead they advised spending millions blasting the West with racist Islamophobic content demonizing Muslims instead. I think about that a lot while browsing Twitter

The biggest contributors to antisemitism are zionists (both Jews and non-Jews). They want attacks on Jews because they use it to justify the need for Israel. They incite attacks on Jews by calling any critic of Israel an antisemite, which makes all Jews responsible for Israel.

Colonization is a term use to describe things which should be treated different. I see 3 categories: (1) conquer and rule, (2) conquer and pillage, and (3) conquer and ethnically cleanse. Russia's conquest of Eastern Ukraine falls under (1). Europe's conquest of India and Africa falls under (2). Europe's conquest of N. America and Australia falls under 3. Israel's conquest of Palestine also falls under 3. Of course, 3 is by far the worst.

Israeli strike kills woman and leaves 4-year girl screaming in terror as flames engulf her home:
A horrific scene. Israel has just carried out a terror strike on an apartment in Gaza City, killing at least one woman. Neighbors rushed to the scene as flames engulfed the apartment. They heard a little girl screaming. She was rescued. Listening to her cries shattered me into pieces. Do you know when israel launched this terror strike? At 4 in the morning today in Gaza local time. Stop Israel’s terrorism.

Here are a few of the confessions I noted down while watching Naza. “Whoever you decided to kill was a terrorist.” We say 15 NAZA. Not 15 people, or 15 women and children. We say 15 NAZA.” "It’s like a video game, we’d always say, because everything is done remotely.” “We didn’t collect the bodies. The dogs eat them.” - The ‘human shield’ claim about private houses is absurd. They just come home to sleep. That’s where we find them.” When asked if what’s happening in Gaza is genocide.) “Yes. Completely.... It’s intentional killing. We intended to kill those children.” “Gaza became a factory of targets… it was done on a mass scale, efficiently, like in a factory.” “A factory of targets.” “We erased history.” “The policy is to destroy everything as quickly as possible, before we lose international legitimacy.” “When we would attack someone and saw he was injured but alive, we usually dropped another bomb on him.” “I’d hear the final moments of a person’s life.” “I heard a woman screaming that her daughter’s body was burning.” “The goal was quantity not quality.” “There was a boy who entered our territory, he wasn’t doing anything. They bombed him.” Y’all understand the panic over Naza yet? The film is dismantling their narrative piece by piece, using their own words.

A compilation by Israeli researcher Shaiel Ben-Ephraim documents 26 instances on Oct. 7, 2023, in which Hamas fighters had civilians in their power and spared their lives. The cases match how Hamas has described the day. In a January 2024 document explaining the operation, the group said its fighters were under a "religious and moral commitment" to avoid harming civilians. It said any civilian deaths happened "accidentally and in the course of the confrontation with the occupation forces." Investigations by the UN commission of inquiry and Human Rights Watch documented several cases where Hamas-led fighters also deliberately killed civilians and took captives that day, which both called war crimes. Hamas officials acknowledged that "some faults happened," which they attributed to "the rapid collapse of the Israeli security and military system." Hamas also noted "many Israelis were killed by the Israeli army and police due to their confusion,” as stir Israeli military officials admitted ordering the “Hannibal Directive” in several locations.
On October 7th, the world was told Hamas beheaded babies and out them in ovens. That was false. We were not told of many true cases where civilians were spared. I've compiled, for the first time, testimony from 26 cases where Hamas fighters spared civilians, citing orders to do so. The lie was used to justify Israel's slaughter of tens of thousands of civilians since.

Being forcefully pro-Palestine is the most efficient way to weed all the worst people out of your life. It takes care of them all. Zionists. Islamophobes. Apathetic narcissists. Unthinking herd-minded right wing ideologues. Abuser-enabling “both sides” moral cowards. Emotionally stunted man-babies who turn every challenging conversation into an “allow me to play devil’s advocate” mental exercise to avoid feeling normal human feelings. Leaned-back, too-cool-for-the-current-thing victims of western meta-irony brain rot. It’s like spraying yourself with asshole repellant. Supporting Palestine doesn't automatically make you a good person; opposing genocide and apartheid is just the basic bare-minimum position we're all morally obligated to take. But supporting Israel against the Palestinians absolutely does automatically make you a bad person. Palestine is an interesting issue in that someone’s position on it doesn’t merely tell you about their politics, it tells you who they are as a person. If they can listen to you talk about all the horrific things Israel has done in Gaza and still have an objection to your position on the matter, then they’re not the sort of person you want in your life. If they can look at all those videos of shrapnel-shredded children and the satellite images showing entire neighborhoods pulverized to powder and then still think you’re the problem for opposing those things, then they’re showing you that there is something profoundly wrong with them as human beings. I haven’t lost a single relationship I care about in these last three years. I’ve alienated a few obnoxious old acquaintances whom I’ve never liked, but all the people I actually value and want to keep in my life are fully on my side when it comes to hating Israel and supporting the Palestinians. Turns out I had done a pretty good job of surrounding myself with decent human beings in the years prior to the Gaza holocaust, but if I hadn’t I would have driven away the genocide supporters without a moment’s hesitation, and I would have been glad that circumstances forced them to expose their true nature to me. You don’t even need to be that dramatic about it, though. Simply holding your position and refusing to be bullied out of it is generally all it takes to get such individuals to step away from you. If they know you think their whole worldview is wrong and that their values system is depraved, and they know they can’t talk you out of that perspective, then they’re probably not going to want to hang out with you. In a world that has gone mad, it’s important to find little signposts of clarity to help you morally orient yourself so you don’t get swept up in the insanity with the herd. Palestine is one such signpost, because it’s such a blatantly obvious moral position to hold on to. But in a world that has gone mad, insisting on sanity will often turn the insane against you.

This jingoistic taboo on discussing the unparalleled violence and bloodshed the US brings to the world is infantile. Hasan Piker said nothing even contestable. The US has killed more people using classic terrorist tactics than Al Qaeda by far. Here's what MLK said in 1967:
During his interview with Axios, Hasan Piker was asked if he thinks America is worse than al-Qaeda: "Pound for pound, as far as the number of deaths, yes. We've caused tremendous terror all around the world. I think that that is not only terror that we are waging on regular civilians in nations in the periphery, but it's also having consequences on ourselves. It's having dramatic consequences on the home front. One clear example of this is what we did in Minab [Iran]. There's no distinction between blowing up a school, triple-tapping it with tomahawk missiles. If you're killing 140 school girls, that is an act of terror. This doesn't mean that all Americans are terrorists, but the reality of the matter is we have to create an environment of accountability to ensure things like that never happen again."

from 1948. nothing has changed. they've always been ghouls. but go ahead and defend these demons, send them American tax dollars in the trillions, send America's young to die and spill their blood for them, and villainize the people naming these parasites for what they are.
‘They massacred Arab babies’ Headline in the Sydney Daily Telegraph, 1948. This passage stands out: Jews saw their opportunity. Men of the army of Zion attacked Deir Yassin at 10 a.m. that day. They easily overcame the opposition. They killed 20 Arab defenders, and entered the village, tossing grenades into houses. They killed old men, women, and children with bayonets. For three hours the slaughter went on. Babies were killed in front of their mothers. Mothers’ throats were slit. Some were beheaded. A group of men and women—some of the women obviously pregnant—were lined up and shot. The bloodlusting Jewish soldiery desecrated the bodies of pregnant mothers with knives. When they had murdered 264 villagers, the Jews called a halt. They rounded up four truckloads of survivors of all ages and both sexes, tossed the bodies of the dead into the village well, and drove off with the survivors. The victorious Jews drove the survivors through Jewish areas as exhibits of victory while Jews spat upon them. The parade continued, with breaks, for two days. ——————- Every Zionist accusation is a confession. Zionism is Jewish supremacism. The bloodlust is baked in. #EndJewishSupremacy #DismantleZionism

There is a reason Western governments will accept almost any accusation except one. Call them violent. They will absorb it. Violence, attached to strength and necessity and the hard logic of geopolitics, can be managed. It can be framed. It can be given narrative logic. It can be made to feel like the difficult decision of a serious people living in a complicated world. Call them genocidal and something different happens. Because genocide has a specific meaning in international law. Because genocide implies intent. Because genocide removes the escape hatch of accident, miscalculation, and tragic necessity. Genocide says: you knew what you were doing. You did it anyway. And you did it to people specifically because of who they were. Watch how fast the language changes when that word appears. Watch how quickly the scholars are mobilized, the historians consulted, the definitions debated. The debate about the definition is the defense. Keep them arguing about the word and they never have to answer for the act.

An awake working class is the only thing that has ever genuinely threatened concentrated power. Not elections, which are managed. Not journalism, which is owned. Not protest, which is tolerated at the level where it's symbolic and suppressed at the level where it isn't. A working class that understands, clearly, collectively, across the lines of race and nationality and religion that were drawn specifically to divide it, what is actually happening and who is actually responsible. That is the threat. That is why so much energy goes into making sure it doesn't happen. The racism isn't incidental to the economic project. The xenophobia isn't a distraction from the real politics. The division is the politics. Keep them fighting each other and they never look up. Keep them looking at the border and they never read the trade agreement. Keep them afraid of each other and they never ask who benefits from the fear.

Early Zionist settler and leader Moshe Smilansky to Ahad Ha'am, September 6, 1913: “We continue to conduct our old politics as though the country were a wasteland and the people living in it were akin to donkeys... The Zionist Office buys land and evicts the fellahin-sharecroppers from it, without paying them a penny—not even for the houses they built with their own money. And the young ‘conquerors’ turn the cemeteries—pardon the expression—into latrines. I have seen this disgrace with my own eyes! And they drive away with sticks the Arab women who come to mourn at the graves of their ancestors. I was told about this in person, with horrifying cynicism... They have created a state of war against the Arab. An Arab is forbidden from entering the settlement. And by this they are fulfilling the wishes of the demagoguery of the parties in which the workers are organized. These parties... have accustomed the young workers to think that they are in a conquered country. And from revolutionary Russia they brought the customs of how to behave toward conquered peoples... They openly say that their aim is to create such a relationship between the settlements and their [Arab] neighbors that the latter will no longer be able to employ them as workers.” In the photo: Moshe Smilansky
In Zionist/Israeli historiography, it is common to use the Hebrew term "sharecroppers' village" (kfar arisim) to describe Palestinian villages that were uprooted and destroyed before 1948 to make way for Jewish settlements. While the term is technically accurate in the narrow, dry sense, in practice its use serves to diminish the villagers, portraying them as a kind of miserable, rootless people without rights, whom some effendi had simply placed somewhere and allowed to work his land for a certain period of time. A sort of human footnote - objects that once occupied the landscape and are no longer there. In reality, these were people who lived on their land, sustained themselves from it and made their livelihoods from it, in many cases for generation after generation. Following the introduction of the corrupt Ottoman Land Code of 1858, they were forced to accept wealthy "landlords" and began paying what was essentially rent from their harvest. But aside from a certain degree of economic hardship, their lives continued much as before. The new landowners could trade the land among themselves, and for the fellahin this changed nothing. They were simply paying rent to a new master, often one who lived far away from the land and had never even visited it. That was until the Zionists arrived, acquiring the land through both legal and less-than-legal means and transforming the old order. This time, it was no longer simply an effendi seeking a share of the peasants' harvest, but a foreign colonial movement that had come to conquer their land, dispossess them and settle Jews in their place. At best, they might receive compensation for their displacement or be allowed to work for the emerging new masters of the land. Since most of them were illiterate, poor fellahin with no connections whatsoever in politics, business or the media, history tends to erase them and forget them. After all, they were merely "sharecroppers." But to truly understand both the Zionist mindset and the ongoing catastrophe of Palestine and its people, we also need to know their story.

You want to know who the bravest Americans were during America’s war in Vietnam? Not the generals. Not the politicians. Not the architects of the policy. The people who went to prison rather than go to war. The veterans who threw their medals over the White House fence. The soldiers who fragged their own officers rather than lead their men into one more pointless assault. The journalists who filed the reports that showed the gap between the official story and the bodies on the ground. The Vietnamese-American translators who told the truth in rooms where the truth was unwelcome. These people did not feed on the machine. They put themselves in the machine's path. At real cost. Not abstract cost. Real cost: imprisonment, career destruction, harassment, violence, social death. They are the ones the empire's history books minimize or omit. Because an empire that fully honored its internal resisters would be forced to ask why resistance was necessary. And that question leads somewhere the story cannot afford to go.
