Made a ton of updates to x402 analytics service for Algorand. I think it's going to be very handy for harvesting transaction data for tax season. Take a look and let me know what's missing so I can get it integrated.

This person needs to come down off their high horse and face reality. $QRL has been quantum since day one. It launchrd in 2018, yet somehow has only done a grand total of 6.3 million transactions, of which only 1.9 million are signed with XMSS. That’s right, the majority of the txns on the network are unsigned block payouts to miners. In addition to that, one miner has complete control of your network. To recap, - not decentralized - more block rewards paid out than actual PQ txns Source: quantascan.io/charts/mining-…
I thought it was some random $ALGO fan who built the tool to inflate their PQ tx count against $QRL, but it's worse: It was @Algorand's own Head of Product Marketing!

Google just made one of the hardest parts of building a crypto-breaking quantum computer a lot easier. We started moving Algorand to post-quantum signatures in 2022. 2.7M+ post-quantum transactions later, no chain has more.
Some magical progress towards "magic state" in quantum! Our @GoogleQuantumAI team has demonstrated "magic state cultivation" on physical hardware for the first time. The result is a 40x error reduction on our Willow processor vs. previous methods, achieving a state-of-the-art 99.99% logical fidelity. It's another step towards useful, error-corrected quantum computers to help solve the hardest problems. The result is published in Science today, watch the video below to see how it works

Go rate the community note on this tweet so we can properly address the incorrect claims being made about @Algorand
Most chains have no quantum plan except "move your funds." On Starknet, you just upgrade. Same address, new cryptography. That’s what crypto agility actually looks like. We compared 10 networks. Here’s how they stack up:
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Algorand has supported rekeying since 2020, enabling users to change an account's spending keys (including migration to post-quantum signatures) while keeping the same public address and without moving assets. dev.algorand.co/concepts/accou… dev.algorand.co/concepts/accou… x.com/algorand/statu…

Please upgrade your nodes to v5.0.3 as soon as possible. Release notes are available at github.com/algorand/go-algor…. This patch fixes an issue with DNSSEC validation that prevents nodes from bootstrapping into the network when started or restarted. The issue affects all types of nodes. Nodes that are currently connected to the network are functioning properly, but a new start or restart with versions less than 5.0.3 will not be able to validate DNSSEC signatures, which are required by default. This would result in the node being unable to connect to the network.

If you trade ASAs on @Algorand and are looking for a service that handles transaction harvesting for establishing cost basis and computing profit, you’ll want to give the article below a skim.

Underrated fly wheel effect for $CARDS Once this price absolutely rips, I suspect people will rotate profit from $CARDS into gacha machines on @Collector_Crypt driving revenue even higher. $CARDS at $PUMP market cap is a 10x from here. I know that if $CARDS hits $3-5 range, I’m going to be extremely tempted to pull the 5,000 gacha just to do it.

Okay, so... Algorand needs to really reconsider how it fits into agentic commerce. x402 is a request-response flow. At 2.9s per round, a tool loop of a few dozen calls picks up a minute in pure block latency before you count signing, facilitator round trips, etc. It's competing with other blockchains that are much faster and have deterministic finality also. Arc’s own docs put finality in under a second -- they've benchmarked like ~350ms. "Seconds" is not machine speed. It might be fine for AI-assisted human checkout. But the bigger problem is that Algorand is outside of the Arc/CCTP ecosystem. So an agent that gets paid in USDCa doesn't have access to the same burn-and-mint path every other major USDC chain uses. It's walled off. Saying this in the spirit of "tough love" because Algorand has a limited runway, limited amount of time to find revenue, and I haven't seen good answers to these problems, yet it's a major component of the strategy and spend. That doesn't mean Algorand is precluded from the agentic ecosystem entirely -- maybe it finds value as a layer above or below that takes advantage of its public, decentralized validators (vs Arc's data center chain), or PQ accounts, or atomic settlement, or something else.

All the newbies figuring out what trading $ALGO has been like for the last 5 years, in the last ~8 hours lol 21.7% gain in ~3 hours 0.1175 to 0.1430 met with instant selling of a large bag that immediately retraced the entire thing -17.8% lost in ~5 hours 0.1430 to 0.1175
