Peter asked Jesus how many times he had to forgive someone. Seven? He thought he was being generous.
Jesus said seventy times seven, which was His way of saying stop counting.
Then a soldier drove nails through His hands, and while they did it, He said Father, forgive them, they do not know what they are doing.
He forgave them mid-crime, while the hammer was still moving.
I hold grudges over things that ended years ago, rehearsing the offense like it happened this morning.
And He forgave His own executioners in real time.

Being at the end of the age of man, walking with God is a mixed bag....for example did you know that we, as a collective group of creatures are absolutely the dumbest creatures in all of the history of creation? Of course that offends, however it is true. As a species we profess to be at the pinnacle of evolution, creativity, intelligence and thought. How embarrasing it will be for those that hold to this wisdom of the flesh that we are the exact opposite. We killed God in the flesh and we rinse and repeat that folly everyday. What a tragic comedy of morons dancing daily to a tune of oblivion. It is astonishing that any of us continue to draw a breath of life at all. The end cannot come fast enough or hard enough for us all.๐ฅ๐THE๐๐ฅ
