I had the unbelievable honour of being the parade commander for the @KnaresboroNow remembrance parade today, but an even bigger honour was meeting this legend.
104 years old he fought at the battle of Monte Cassino. A #Hero from the greatest generation 🇬🇧 ❤️

Life can come at you pretty fast sometimes. So, its important to take time to recharge the batteries.
Almost ready to go again 🇬🇧
Days and views like this help🌄
A level results day today, my only comment would be I left school without a GCSE, and I now have my dream job, a degree and a life the kid in the picture below could not have dreamt of.
Success is not final. Failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts 🇬🇧❤️
Well, that's a wrap on intake 78, as the JS of Burma Company headed off to ITT, I couldn't be any prouder of them or the training team.
They say its not about the destination it's about the journey. I couldn't think of a better team to spend this leg of my journey with🇬🇧

Of the 13 Awards available to Burma Company, we won 8. I could not be any prouder of the team and all they have achieved over the last 48 weeks.
Headlong to graduation now 🇬🇧❤️
I took this on Ex FINAL FLING, quite a start to the final day of exercise for the JS of Burma Company.
Watching the JS grow has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, which, as I enter the twilight of my career, gives me hope for the future of the @BritishArmy 🇬🇧
The newest @HCav1660 soldiers with one of the oldest.
These JS will graduate in three weeks and become #TrustedGuardians of His Majesty The King 🇬🇧 an honour and privilege they fully understand and a challenge they are ready for.
On my 28 and a half year journey in the @BritishArmy, there are few things which have made me happier or prouder than seeing the change in the JS of Burma Company.
As they navigate Ex FINAL FLING and approach graduation, I know the future is in safe hands 🇬🇧

Just over three weeks until Burma Company Junior Soldiers graduate & head off on the next phase of their journey in the @BritishArmy.
I am sitting down with them in a weeks time.
Any tips, thoughts, or leassons on the next phase. What advice would you give to them? 🇬🇧
My friend Dave passed away today. He was one of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet.
When I joined the Army, it was a different time, but Dave was always there with encouragement. It was always a well-done kid you've got this. RiP bud, I'll see you at the final reorg🇬🇧
Genuine question for those who have left the military, how did you know it was time to leave, was it personal or proffesional.
Please don't slag off service as that's not what I want. I feel I am at a crossroads, & I am trying to see if what I feel correlates with others.
Thanks
Tough day at work today.
The most difficult I've had in a long time.
Alcohol is not, and never will be the answer, but a beer with the wife when I wasn't supposed to be with her.
Well, that works ❤️🇬🇧
This Armed Forces Day, we honour the men and women who serve, those who have served, & the families who support them. They are the backbone of this country. I have seen first-hand the grit, sacrifice, and unshakable pride our service men and women carry 🇬🇧
#ArmedForcesDay2025
For those serving or who have served, what was/were the proudest moment of your career?
I am briefing my junior soldiers next week about the pride in service, I know mine, but I am keen to understand a broader view and give wider context.
Thanks in advance 🇬🇧❤️
Duke of Edinburgh for the JS of Burma Company this week. Safe to say they saw variations of weather.
As ever, they attacked it with 100% commitment 🇬🇧
The Army Foundation College had 3 teams represent the college at the pace sticking world championships at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
The teams were an instructor team and 2x JS teams 1 from Burna Company and one from Peninsula company. They were all amazing. xitter.cf/OC_Burma_Coy/status/19…
